This is a wonderful location for a family vacation, a peaceful getaway, relaxing at the lake, a fishing trip, playing in the snow, a skiing retreat, or simply to enjoy the natural beauty of the Sierra Mountains.
Smell the brisk pine forest as you drive into the cooler mountain air at the 5400-foot elevation level. It is minutes from the historical gold rush communities of Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and Twain Harte. Yosemite is close enough for a day-trip.
Cold Springs is just off Highway 108 about five miles before Dodge Ridge ski area. Cold Springs is an easy two and a half hour drive from the Bay Area along route 108.
The smoke-free property is located on a cul de sac, and backs up to open space, perfect for children who like to explore. The house is located only a few miles from the Pinecrest Lake marina, where you can launch your own boat or rent one of theirs. For wintertime enjoyment, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is only minutes away.
DESCRIPTION: The upstairs has a full bathroom and two bedrooms; one large bedroom with six twin beds and another bedroom has a queen bed. The downstairs has one bedroom.
Outside, there is a redwood deck that backs up to open space overlooking the tree-lined canyon below.
