Our penthouse condo has been renovated and is in great condition. It is located on the third floor with its own private stairwell at the top of the first flight of stairs. It has breathtaking views of the mountains to the south and of Park City Mountain Resort to the west! We have a great housekeeper to make sure the condo is in top shape for your visit.
The condo includes all modern appliances, granite-top counters and everything you will need to cook and eat. From the oil-rubbed bronze hardware to the soft cotton towels, you will be thrilled with the warm atmosphere of the modern-rustic interior. There's even a private, two-person spa located in the unit. The large deck is equipped with a nice table and chairs to take in the awesome views. This is a much better alternative to a hotel room.
Just a few steps from the front door, you can catch the free bus to all the ski resorts, Main Street, cinemas, shops, and the grocery store. Although you don’t need a car, this unit comes with ample parking spaces for three cars.
This is a Sundance Film Festival venue centrally located between Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR), The Canyons, and Deer Valley.
The condo is also within walking distance to many great restaurants and Silver Mountain Health Club is only steps away for those who wish to keep up with their work-out routines, swim in their huge outdoor pool (with large, water park sized slide) or take in a massage.
The rail trail is accessible from our parking lot for the bike enthusiasts with Park City the world’s first ever-gold level ride center by International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) and named in 2013 as one of the top 10 places to live in Outside magazine. Most riding areas are accessible from the condo via the rail trail and heading east to Round Valley or west to the PCMR. There is even a trail up on the hill behind the condo! The Glenwild area is worth the drive to ride Flying Dog trail – I did a return trip on recommendation and was not disappointed! My highlight was the beaver dam that was right next to the trail – on the uphill side! (see the photo!)
In addition, the amenities of this complex also include a heated outdoor pool (summer only), a family sized co-ed whirlpool and a convention center conveniently located next to the reception.
The Prospector Complex has just had a major make over! All of the buildings have been re-roofed, re-clad, re-carpeted, re-painted etc. They have installed magnetic swipe card entries and faster internet connections.

The renter made the process easy and even included an extra night for some of us due to scheduling conflicts that put 2 of us in the city a night before we were signed on to the lease, and made sure that the previous renter's mess as cleaned. The condo itself is very spacious and fit the 6 of us comfortably, to say the least. There was plenty of room for others to join us if that had ended up being a necessity. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, balcony has a great view. Couch kept everyone cozy after the long days of skiing, neighbors were not too noisy. The building itself is not even 10 minutes from the slopes by shuttle (which arrives on time) and the bus stop is right at the entrance to the complex (be sure to get to the bus on time because if they're pulling away they won't let you on, coming from a guy who was 10 seconds late). Other amenities worth noting, quick walk to the hot tub, it wasn't crowded. There's a workout facility that you can get easy access to. Great kitchen, good water pressure in the showers, plenty of towels, space to store skis, boot space, great heating / AC, big whirlpool bathtub if that's your thing, and some shops / restaurants right down the street. Otherwise you're right in a neighborhood with a bunch of locals and surrounded by some foot hills with mountains in the background. Quick ride over to the main street area too if you're looking to explore the night life which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great bar scene, it was a crowd for all ages which you don't get everywhere, and the main street itself has a bunch of restaurants and knick knack shops to explore.'

We’ll do everything we can to make your stay comfortable. We know travelling is not easy and we’re sure that you'll appreciate just showing up, throwing the bags in the closet, relaxing and getting ready to hit the slopes.
Why the Owner Chose The Prospector (aka Prospector Square Lodge): It is in the best location for a family vacation in Park City. There is a bus stop outside the condo on the free bus network and it is also close to many great restaurants. You could stay closer to Main Street, but that comes along with a lot of traffic and crowds. This Condo is also close to the three ski resorts, but really feels like you're outside of the town because it faces the mountain reserve and has direct access to the rail trail that passes right beside the complex. There is also plenty of parking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: Our unit is large enough to handle a good size family or multiple couples with all the updated features you'll need. It has a deck with great views and also includes a lovely private two-person spa that is accessible to everyone in the unit. For those who enjoy cooking, the kitchen is lovely.
