This professionally decorated lakefront two bedroom Cedar Glen Condo is the ideal home base for boating, waterskiing, swimming, antiquing, shopping, fishing, water parks, golf, caves and history. We have it all. Enjoy the fantastic view from sunrise to long after sundown from your screened and covered private deck complete with patio furniture and gas BBQ grill. There are two swimming pools (one is heated). We have a new playground, volleyball court and horseshoe pits. There is a complementary garage and 12 by 30 foot boat slip. An on-site boat ramp is a definite plus. Full marine service is just across the lake from our docks.
For anglers what counts is what is under the surface of the Niangua arm of the lake and it counts big! Largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, strippers, catfish and walleye are all numerous, so when one species isn’t cooperating another one will. For a fishing change of pace, Bennett Springs State Park trout fishing is just 45 minutes away.
The Lake of the Ozarks features 14 golf courses with water and elevations carved into the rolling hills that will challenge the weekend duffer to the pro. Some are designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Weiskopf, Robert Trent Jones Sr., Bruce Devlon and Robert Hagge. Cedar Glen is across the road from Lake Valley Country Club and minutes from Old Kinderhook Golf Course, a signature course designed by Tom Weiskopf.
Ha Ha Tonka State Park, just minutes away by car or water, offers natural beauty and unusual photo opportunities. There are breathtaking views of the pristine blue waters from the underground spring, rock formations, castle ruins and you might even catch a glimpse bald eagles overhead.
Spending time at the lake is wonderful during any season of the year.
Fall covers the rolling hills with brilliant color, and is the perfect time to get an early start on holiday shopping at the many specialty shops and the 120 plus Osage Beach Factory Outlet Mall. With autumn comes great sweater weather golf. Enjoy a day at a local spa followed by dinner and a show at Main Street Music Hall or dancing at one of the many night spots.
Come back for the holidays or a romantic getaway in January or February. Enjoy the fireplace in the living room and the lake view while sipping hot cocoa. The hills and the lake are spectacular with a powdery dusting of snow.
Spring begins to blossom with white dogwood and crimson redbud. The Products and Services Show in March is an ideal place to see what is new for the coming year. Our annual Dogwood Festival in April offers a parade, arts, crafts, beauty pageant, music, Ozark food and family fun.
With the passing of spring comes the very best season of all. Summer arrives to Lake of the Ozarks in all its glory with swimming, boating, skiing, fishing, golf, cooking on the grill and just relaxing in the sun.
Some additional information. There is a ramp for easy access to the front door. Cedar Glen is scrupulously maintained and family friendly. No loud parties. Complex security enforces quiet hours from 11 PM to 7 AM, so that everyone can enjoy our complex and its amenities.
This lovely Condo is fully furnished and equipped. All you need to bring is your clothes, food, pool towels and toiletries to enjoy a wonderful visit to the quiet water of Lake of the Ozarks. |
