Our spacious beach front condos feature a sumptuous king bed, a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, two baths, and a full kitchen. These huge condos have an in-unit stacked washer and dryer for your convenience. Sit on the lanai and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the ocean, watching the whales play by day during winter, and sipping wine at sunset all year round. If you are coming to Maui from another island, the West Maui Airport at Kapalua, a limited service airport, is only eight miles away. We love being on the beach at Lahaina Shores. We have been going there every year for over 15 years, and finally decided we wanted to own a unit. We enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the lobby and grounds, and the can truly relax at this wonderful condo. We have an excellent property manager who takes very good care of our condo, and extremely good care of our guests. We have many returning guests who choose to come back to our unit, year after year.

Paradise...ocean front!

My family (me, my husband and our 3 children ages 11, 14, 17) stayed in room 113 from November 5, 2011 - November 11, 2011. The unit is great, it's updated with a large master bedroom with ensuite. The sliding doors from the master open to the front of the resort with the Mountain view as a backdrop. The kitchen is updated and great and there is also an apartment sized washer and dryer which was awesome! There is a fair sized living room area with a new flat screen TV and large L-shaped pull out couch. We also used the cot which my daughter said was comfortable. The sliding glass doors (that are wall to wall and floor to cieling allowing for a breathtaking view) open to the ocean front. This unit is directly beside the pool which we loved as it allows for easy access back to your room for washroom breaks and towels. It also allows parents to watch their little ones easily from the Lanai. There seems to be more traffic then other rooms because of it's location but that was a positive for us. Friendly people walking by saying "Aloha!" enjoying their vacation was no problem at all and didn't impede on our privacy or anything. It is ocean front and the ad accurately describes this unit. The person we booked with over the phone (Fran) was incredible and a pleasure to deal with. We had a small issue where we were locked out of our room, the front desk doesn't generally help too much because this is an independently owned unit however the front desk was great in trying to help resolve our issue and offering extras to make us comfortable while the property manager came to help. A locksmith was called and we were back in our room quickly. The property manager was efficient and had us taken care of promptly. Although we were almost charged for the locksmith visit a quick explanation to the property manager was all it took to explain it wasn't our fault and she was understanding and friendly to deal with and we weren't charged for it. We will definitely be back. Hawaii is paradise, worth every penny, and Lahaina Shores is the perfect place to spend your time in paradise. The concierge at the resort will help you with planning any tours you many be interested in. Definitely go snorkelling, surfing and walk through old Lahaina Front Street shopping, try Shave Ice and enjoy your time! Thanks VRBO for this opportunity, we'll be back!!!!!
