There is XC skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and biking trails just out the door. This lovely restored county colonial is a classic Vermont retreat in winter or summer.
The house sleeps up to 12; six in private bedrooms for two, one single, and two bedrooms containing a total of five single beds. There are three full baths, one with a jetted tub and shower. There is a modern laundry and half bath on the first floor.
This incredible home is located in the heart of the Green Mountain National forest, a short walk to the lake. The Wooden Barrell General Store is only two miles away, has gas and fishing licenses, and is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
