Waynesville cabin description
Brand new, immaculate cabin, conveniently located minutes from everything western North Carolina has to offer. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, zip-lining, skiing, horseback riding, or just just relaxing on the private deck and taking in the mountain views and fresh air.
The road to the cabin is fully paved for easy access year-round. The deck is very private with mountain views to the east and west, and no other homes in sight.
Vaulted ceilings and the fireplace give a feeling of warmth and openness to the great room. The full kitchen and dining area adjoin the great room, and allow for any kind of meal preparation, although there are many excellent restaurants nearby.
The master bedroom which features a king-sized bed is airy and bright. Additional amenities include a dresser, dressing table, ample closet space, and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
The great room has a convertible couch that can sleep two, satellite HD TV, and a gas fireplace that can heat the entire cabin. The cabin has a separate central HVAC system if you'd prefer not to heat with the fireplace.
The full bathroom is off the great room for easy access without going through the master bedroom.

Very clean & Beautifully appointed home. Spectacular views from the mountain top. The weekend trip was a spontaneous decision, so booking was done at the very last minute, midnight the day prior. Communication with Mr. Keller was excellent and so was his hospitality. Looking forward to returning.

Awesome romantic getaway!
Awesome romantic getaway!
This place was just perfect for a weekend away with my husband. The views are incredible, and the owner was beyond accommodating. We didn't arrive until after midnight, and Richard still insisted we call him when we got to the bottom of the mountain, so he could lead us up to the house since it's a little tricky in the dark. The house was quaint, new and relaxing with awesome windows framing the mountain views. We went to SoCo falls and dined in downtown Waynesville at the Sweet Onion, which I highly recommend. When we got ready to pack up and go, the only "check-out" requirements were to shut off the lights and "don't do anything else - you're still on vacation" - I just loved that!

About the owner: My wife and I are retired. We are from Florida and moved to North Carolina a little over a year ago. We fell in love with the area for its unspoiled natural beauty and peacefulness. We enjoyed renting our other home in the Bahamas (VRBO: #25815), and decided to do the same here in the mountains. Because this property is new, please see our other property for guest comments and reviews. We take your vacation, comfort, and enjoyment very seriously.
Why the Owner Chose Waynesville:
The location is special. Nestled atop a high ridge, the cabin has both privacy and long range views of the valley and the mountains on either side. Our only neighbor's house is not visible from the cabin's deck. Each season has its own wonder - blooms everywhere in spring, the greenery of summer, leaves changing color in the fall, and snow covered peaks in winter.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The location is fantastic. We've taken our family to the Smoky Mountains to see the largest elk herd east of the Mississippi, then 20 minutes later gone to dinner at a quaint restaurant in downtown Waynesville. Everything is very convenient.
