A beautiful pickled cypress ceiling, and a queen-size bed sit over a hardwood floor that extends to become "the plank," upon which you walk to the full bath upstairs. From above there is an overlook to the main floor in the open plan design. The interior décor of white and blue, sets off this relaxing and inviting away from it all spot. The outdoor rain water shower is a rite of passage when coming back from the private beach a few hundred feet away.
The Crow's Nest and front covered porch are the perfect places to watch boats, birds and butterflies go by and appreciate the striking beauty that unspoiled nature offers. At The Cove, a 15 minute drive down the road you can find an excellent mudslide made by ace bartender Wallis, and delicious local and international cuisine. For a change of scene, you can hop on a water taxi from the Bottom Harbour Dock to Harbour Island, an eight minute ride or stay home for the "Point Nightlife," a myriad of un-obscured stars performing to the cadence of the sea in this remote paradise. |
