Crystal Shores is a thoughtfully well-built, 14-story building, directly on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. It is two years young! Loaded with many state-of-the-art amenities for guests, it is simply one of the best buildings on less-trafficed west beach in Gulf Shores for either a couple or small family to share memories of a perfect vacation.
The onsite fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment directly overlooks the Gulf of Mexico The Indoor-outdoor pool and spa also is built to afford sweeping views of the gulf while you are soaking! This building has it all and also boasts an incredibly convienient location close to all the shopping and parks! Hit the "G" elevator button, and in one minute, your toes are blissfully in the fluffy white sand!
This CORNER unit is located higher in the building and offers views of both the Gulf of Mexico and the Little Lagoon from the wrap-around huge balcony and from every window in the place! It is professionally decorated with very comfortable and new beach decor. The unit sleeps six incredibly comfortably and a one or two more with ingenuity. YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU SEE A CORNER UNIT VS. AN INTERIOR ONE THAT THE VIEW, SUN and EXTRA SPACE THAT A SEPARATE LAUNDRY ROOM PROVIDES MAKES THE SLIGHT EXTRA COST WELL WORTH IT.
We have high speed wifi for your computer and tons of other creature comforts. The kitchen is fully loaded and ready to experience your culinary prowess!
The two bedrooms both have King-Size beds with Premium mattresses (I insisted since I have a bad back)... and the couch in the living room has a premium Sealy mattress in the pull out queen-size sleeper. The master bedroom boasts a view of the Gulf of Mexico. It is a heavenly sight upon awakening each morning! Dolphins are a common sighting, too! The second bedroom offers a lovely view of the Little Lagoon.
Our goal in furnishing our condo was comfort for our family, when we visit our second home-away-from-home. The linens are top quality, and the balcony furniture offers high-end comfort with great chaise lounges for reading books! It is loaded with tons of books, games, puzzles, videos, and DVD's to entertain young and old.
You can watch the videos or DVD's in either of the bedrooms or living room on one of the three televisions. It is hard to watch TV though, while you're sitting on the couch, when the views of the Gulf of Mexico and Little Lagoon are vying for your attention!
High-end appointments in this unit include granite counter tops, tile floors and carpeting in the bedrooms, refrigerators with ice makers and filtered water and an incredibly well-stocked cooks kitchen - because I like to cook! There are also grill facilities on site in season.
It is best to enjoy the corner view at dusk while watching the sunset as you eat at the balcony height outdoor table overlooking both the Gulf of Mexico and the Little Lagoon, and the chef doesn't feel bad cooking because you can see the Gulf the whole time!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Corner balcony overlooks Gulf of Mexico AND little lagoon. Balcony height bar stools are crucial for seeing over the railings and getting pure views of the gulf. Grilling area (charcoal) on site as well as beach chairs and beach towels in our condo.

We bought this property when it was built in 2004 and when I walked on the balcony with my hard hat on, I started jumping up and down. It is such a view and such a great condo. I put my heart into the decor our place and it's so comfortable, I know you will feel it in each and every room. From the stripes in the bathroom to the other items we have throughout that make you realize this truly is a second home...ours and we'd love to have you enjoy it as we have over the years. It looks and lives brand new!

My girlfriends and I get together about twice a year to relax and spend time together. This year we visited Gulf Shores and had the pleasure of renting Dana's awesome condo. We've traveled up the gulf coast in the past from Destin to Panama City and we all agree that Dana's accomodations are at the top of our list. The condo has everything you could ask for and the view from the balcony is like no other. I was also pleasantly suprised at how easy the rental process was and how friendly Dana and her staff were throughout the booking process. When we arrived the condo was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. I hope after reading this review that you are lucky enough to rent this great property. Dana, can't wait to visit again!

What a wonderful time! Condo was great, clean and nicely furnished. Beds were so comfortable! We watched dolphins off the deck. Dana was great to work with. Every place we ate was great! Wolf Bay Lodge was favorite. Went parasailing at Blue Reef Watersports - mark that one off the bucket list. What fun! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful get away and definitley want to go back! Didn't want to leave. GN (Oklahoma)

This is an amazing condo, it was everything we could ask for the views are wonderful, the furnishings were perfect, especially the mattress we slept on and Dana was a delight to work with. I would recommend this property to all my friends, in fact a friend recommended it to me!

To me, the most important things are the little ones when staying in a place, but the bedding is crucial. I am glad you loved it, too. Our mattresses are top-of-the-line and so are the outdoor chaise lounges, and our rocker recliner....lighting where you need it, etc. Thanks again for this review. I stayed at this condo Oct. 16 - 23. It was wonderful! The location was very convenient to great restaurants. The beach was not crowded. The balcony was huge. We really enjoyed the chaise lounges. If you want a very clean and well equipped condo, this is the one for you. Dana was so easy to work with for this vacation. I highly recommend this unit.

Hi Dana! Just wanted to say thanks so much for renting your condo to us! Everything was fabulous and just as you said it would be! The condo is beautiful, the location was perfect, and the beach chairs were set up every morning ready for us! Staying at this condo made our trip perfect! Our party of four arrived on May 22, 2010 and stayed until the 26, I wish we had planned a longer trip. The condo was clean and well maintained, all furnishings were in tip top shape, the appliances worked well, and the kitchen is well stocked. Parking was no problem and the carts available to tote your belongings to your room help a lot. The walkway to the beach has a shower and hose to spray off the sand, which is nice. I know sometimes it’s hard to gauge how old pictures are but Dana represents her property well, the pictures reflect exactly what it looks like today. Now onto the good stuff, my favorite part of the whole trip was the huge balcony full of nice furniture where you can lounge and relax with the ocean in front of you. The first day we saw sting rays swimming, I’d say there were about 6 of them. The best treat of all was the evening before we left there we’re about 15 dolphins swimming and putting on a show for us, they would jump and swim it was so beautiful. I suggest bringing binoculars and a good camera because you will use both. I know we were personally scared of the oil spill, but we continued with our plans and I’m so happy we did. The most coming phrase I heard was the only oil on the beach was on bodies getting a tan. If you’re looking for a clean, classy, and fun place to stay then you’ve found it! I hope to come back in the future and I will be staying at this same condo!

In the event that oil hits our coastline and our beaches are closed or if our water is deemed unswimmable as a result of the oil spill, we are refunding monies in full. I recently took my family on a last minute vacation and was lucky enough to get this property. The condo and the view were AMAZING!!! Breakfast on the balcony with the view of the Gulf was one so relaxing, the patio furniture was an added bonus!! The beach was only a few steps away and the condo was like new! The owners were very nice and extremely easy to deal with. I can’t wait to go back next year!
