Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
I worked in Vail for the Police Dept for 10 years and currently live in Denver and now work for the fire dept. This was the best investment I could have ever made. There is "almost" no such thing as Lake Front property in Summit/Eagle Counties, with the exception of this unique location! Every day was a vacation even when I lived there full time. It is surreal, quiet and non-stressful. You can enjoy fishing, sailing, biking and hiking all from the front door.
I am blessed and enjoy sharing my home with others who will equally appreciate what my home has to offer.

Spectacular views of Lake Dillon and the Rocky Mountains

We chose this condo for its location. It is close to all ski areas, restaurants, pubs, shopping, entertainment etc. The bonus was the spectacular views of Lake Dillon and the Rocky Mountains. Since we are skiers, this condo provided us a no frills, down home feeling. It had the basic amenities for us. If you ski, like to "chill" afterwards, cook or go out to eat, this is the place. We are coming back to this condo in March. The owner called at the beginning of our stay and at the end. Touching base as to any needs or concerns. We had none. The overall experience was great............
Owner response:Thank you so much for your nice review. I appreciate your feedback, as well as your business. It is a tough economy for everyone and understand there are many condos to choose from.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

All of the needed essentials are there. We loved the location of the condo. There was also a money saving opportunity to clean it ourselves, which was nice. However, it was clear that the people that stayed there before us had only wiped down everything and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned....... But, it was worth the money for us as it was cheap and centrally located for us.
Owner response:Thank you for you helpful review. I take these very seriously and want to continue to offer a great condo at a great value. I can only do this if my guests who choose to take advantage of savings take it seriously as well, and does not take advantage of me or my next guests. I try to provide a detailed list with explicit directions of how and what needs to be cleaned and my expectations. I am proud to say this is not the norm. My guests in the past have been very respectful to my home and my new coming guests. My Sincere Regards, Jennifer Owner

We stayed here for a romantic birthday get-away weekend, and the condo was perfect for our needs. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. A quaint condo right on the lake. Perfect location to walk into town and explore Dillon, or walk to the marina and take the water taxi to Frisco (definitely recommend doing so!) to explore there for a day. Several ski resorts are very close by if you happen to visit during winter, and the Silverthorne outlets are just on the other side of the interstate from Dillon. The condo is well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. Recommendations for restaurants: Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe in Frisco or the Arapahoe Cafe in Dillon for breakfast, Keystone Ranch in Keystone for a romantic night out, and the casual Tiki Bar at the Dillon Marina for cocktails and view of the lake.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was as advertised. Although not shown in the photos, the television was a good size and located at eye level directly across from the couch. Jennifer was easy to speak with over the phone and it was easy to arrange our stay. The condo was close to ski resorts (we skied at Loveland, Keystone, and Copper Mountain), restaurants, and the outlet mall. After skiing, we warmed up by the fireplace and enjoyed the nice view. We also prepared many meals at the condo and watched DVDs on the TV. Our only complaint was that the community hot tub was too hot to use. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.
Owner response:J & S, Thank you so very much for your kind review. I pride myself on offering a beautiful, cozy condo at a great value. I appreciate my guests constructive comments and always want to improve my guests stay. But the best review I could have, is to have you come again. Thank you, I know you have many choices. Sincere Regards, Jennifer

My husband and I came out for our first time to ski and have a quiet weekend in the mountains. This condo exceeded our expectations! It was so cozy and felt like home. We made dinner and relaxed with the gas fireplace and the pillow top bed was an added bonus. Outstanding quality linens and the owner was very accomodating and friendly. We will certainly come back and recommend it to our familiy and friends.

Jennifer, We've spend many summer vacations at the Yacht Club Condos, our favorite spot in Summit County, and this is by far the best Y.C. condo we've stayed at. Definitely a "home away from home". The location, with spectacular views, patio right on the lake and the bike path passing behind the unit can't be beat either. The Dincers

My mother comes out to ski about twice a year and I try to find a comfortable place for us to stay. This condo felt more like home to me than any other I've stayed in! The location is great, the neighbors are friendly, and the place itself was very clean and comfortable. We'll be back!
