Casita Buena Suerte is located in a gated compound shared with only 3 additional seperate casitas (little houses) with its own parking for up to 2 automobiles per casita.
After a great day of skiing, hiking, shopping, gallery strolling, or whatever your heart desires, curl up by the fire, have a glass of wine, listen to some great music, cook a wonderful dinner or take a siesta before a night on the town.
Casita Buena Suerté (house of good luck) is perfect for a romantic get away, ski holiday, extended stay or as a temporary home while in transition. This two bedroom adobe casita is full of "Old World" charm and is furnished with sophisticated but comfortable Santa Fe style. Authentic adobe plaster walls, radiant heated brick floors, high wood ceilings, custom cactus shutters, vigas and beams. It is well equipped with all the amenities and furnishings including a king-size bed (with Tempurpedic topper) in the master bedroom, two twins in the 2nd bedroom/2 bathrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. It can accommodate up to six persons with the sleeper sofa but 4 is most comfortable.
Outdoors is an "L" shaped garden that wraps around the home with 3 private patios with separate entrances, one is off the living room, one is off the master bedroom and one is in the back yard garden.
Three televisions with Dishnetwork Satellite including 250 channels and DVD players in the Livingroom and Master. VHS in 2nd bedroom.
Casita Buena Suerte is located at 654 D. West San Francisco Street which is one of two streets that intersects the Plaza. An easy 10 minute walk.
It is a 5 minute walk to the DeVargas Center for groceries, Starbucks, great restaurants, movies and more.

Why the Owner Chose Santa Fe
We bought our rental property not only for others visiting and wanting a great place to relax and enjoy but also when we need an in-town place, we can stay there and take our dogs on a walk to the Plaza and enjoy eating and drinking at all the great restaurants in the downtown area as all of our visitors do. We live in the country so it's a great getaway for us too!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our property is inside an off street gated compound accessed with remote control and has 3 add’l. separate Casitas (all little homes within the compound). Ours is just under 1200 sq. ft. and is equipped with everything for a very comfortable stay. Including radiant heated brick floors, 2 bed/2 bath, couch that makes out into a queen size bed, all adobe construction, decorated in very sophisticated Santa Fe style, Kiva Fireplace (with wood), wireless internet and all amenities. You are a 5 minute walk to Groceries, Starbucks, restaurants, and about 10 to 15 minute walk to the historical Santa Fe plaza.
Rail Runner drop location. Take the train to ABQ and back for a great day and fun ride on this new transit system! Great Restaurant in this location too.
Shopping, Eating, & Starbucks just a 5 minute walk from the Casita!

We've lived in Santa Fe since 1992 and can truly call it our home. We love to travel and stay in other VRBO homes but it's always great coming back to historical Santa Fe New Mexico. Our business is in Santa Fe; we publish Haciendas magazine a local Home owner/Home Builder magazine so it's easy for us to manage the property ourselves. And we get to meet and greet all the people who come and stay in our wonderful Casita.
