We have been going to Lake Tahoe for the past few years. We decided to stay in a cabin this time and we are so glad we picked this one. We wanted to bring our dogs with us, and this was an amazing place. Thank you for everything. The yard was completely fenced in and they could run and play without worrying about them getting hurt. We spent my daughter's 7th birthday here and we are glad we did. Dan, Krista & Kambria

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cabin very much. The location is just minutes away from Heavenly, which is great for our snowboarding family. We also enjoyed playing in the snow in the very large front/side yard. A lovely, cozy cabin.

These owners are extremely friendly and cooperative, even returned our last night fee when we had to return early. Very prompt return of deposit fee too. We went up on what was predicted to be the blizzard of the year, with no problems whatsoever. Chain controls, but both 50 and Pioneer Trail were plowed well. The cabin is conveniently located right off Pioneer Trail, yet unbelievably quiet. Just 2 blocks from Ski Run Blvd., conveniently located to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. Red Box DVD's were right down the road, although they had many videos in the cabin too, along with games. The wood stove fireplace nearly cooked us out! (bring matches), perfect for those cold, snowy nights. The cabin came with everything you could need or want, including a cute raised food/water set for your pooch. Now my dog wants one! We've stayed in pet-friendly places before and they stink. This place did not at all. Loved the enclosed front porch and the garage to keep the vehicle out of snow at night. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

This house feels very comfortable and cozy. We love the fireplace and kept it burning all weekend long. The pictures do not give it justice. We look forward to our return visit.

We spent a great 2 weeks here, close to everything, the kids liked their independance to be able to bike to town and the rec. center. Very comfortable place to stay and the owners are great to deal with. We will be back.

Jay and Rachel were very responsive answering all my questions related to renting this property. The best part about this rental for us was that they welcomed pet owners and had a fenced in yard for our dogs to play! The cabin was very cozy and incredibly close to the casinos, food, shopping, skiing...practically everything you would want to do. We will definitely consider staying here on our next trip to Tahoe!!!

We had a great time in this charming cabin.We were there when there was quite a bit of snow on the ground, but the driveway was clear. The kids spent hours in the large front yard building snowmen, having snowball fights, sliding on disks etc.We have a large family (5 big kids age 15 – 24, and two dogs) but everyone was comfortable with the number of nooks people could hang out in.It had all of the amenities we needed, the internet was useful and it was also nice being able to pull our two cars into the garage. We had the most wounderful time at the woodbine cottage. It was my husbands birthday and we went snowboarding all weekend long! plus only $8 cab ride to the casino's. Couldnt have asked for a better place. my husbands irish and couldnt get enough of the little irish nic-nacs every where. Very cool that they allow dogs as well . would definatly recommend

The cabin looks cuter and a whole lot nicer in person than in the photos. It evokes a "Tahoe feeling" with its rustic look and motif. Our 2 small dogs loved the backyard and so did we. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and most of all, the location was just FANTASTIC! Less than 5 minutes to Safeway, Heavenly Ski Resort and the Casinos. In addition, the owners are so accommodating, they even picked up their phone and entertained our questions on Thanksgiving day. We certainly will consider renting this cabin again. Thanks so much Jay and Rachel for making our Thanksgiving Holiday a wonderful and memorable one.

The cabin was great. We brought 2 dogs with us, and the back yard and front patio are great for them to run around in. The cabin felt private while being so close to the Casino's and Heavenly. This cabin was PERFECT for a much needed family vacation! We took our dogs and 4 year old and the cabin had everything we could have needed... right down to the bubble bath that we forgot! The website doesn't do the outdoors justice... there was covered seating for 6-8 with bbq. It was so relaxing sitting out there underneath the trees. Next time I will plan accordingly so I can use it better. The dogs loved the front porch and had plenty of room to run around. Beds were comfy, I had the best night's sleep in MONTHS, and the cabin was the best kid and dog friendly place I have ever stayed at. I will definitely be back. Many thanks! :) Katie

Our daughter got married in South Lake Tahoe, and we needed a place for several guests, including my mother and mother-in-law, my son, and my neices. Not only was the cabin perfect in its location, it was ideal for the family reunion that took place amidst the excitement of the wedding. We had a great time at the Woodbine house at S. Tahoe--The gentle upslope front yard was perfect for carving out sled runs for the grandkids and us older folks to shoot down the hill--The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and easy to use. We 6 adults, 3 dogs and 3 grandchildren felt right at home. And Mexican take-out was only a mile away. Highly recommended! Grampa Chas and family

Place was perfect for us...family with a two-year-old and a dog...location rocks (1/4 mile to Heavenly's California Lodge; about a mile to Casinos)...Internet was perfect -- easy to log on a fast...covered garage a help, and drive was plowed every day.
