  We had a fantastic time at your villa it more than lived up to our expectations. The villa was very large and comfortable just perfect to accommodate our family of six which included 2 couples and 2 children. The house was spotless with plenty of towels and bed linen available. It was very private and has a great pool to relax at when we were exhausted from the parks. The location was perfect. We have stayed in other villas in Orlando over the years but the location of yours was the best. Liz from the management company even called in to see if everything was ok. We would recommend it to our friends for a great stay. It was so close to the parks, restaurants, and shops. Hope to come again. The Fitzgerald Family from Ireland

Liz, our Management Company does an excellent job and does all the cleaning to her own high standard and satisfaction. She ensures that all the bedding, towels and linen are all spotless. As we are fully licensed under Florida Law to operate as a rental home, Liz is very compliant with the necessary requirements to meet with that Florida Licensing law and keep the villa the high standard which you found. I have peace of mind that should we get an unexpected inspection from the authorities, which may take place any time, our home meets the requirements and above. Liz also takes care of our guests very well and will always go that extra mile to make your stay more comfortable if she can. She is always to hand. Cumbrian Lakes is a lovely spot, and so handy for all the attractions, restaurants and shopping. Cumbrian Lakes itself is a well kept community and a great safe place to stay.   If your looking for a retreat to be able to get away from the 'Disney' experience then this is it. Cumbrian Lakes is a good community. We have stopped in various locations and find the commute to Disney from here not so busy from a traffic point of view (being on the east side of the interstate). The community is quite and I had no worrys about my girls wandering around to the play area or to the lake to spot alligators. The villa was of a high standards and fully equipped with all you need. The villa was nicely decorated and not overlooked from the back. The owners were very helpful during booking and also with any questions that we had after. We had no need to contact the management company whilst there so cannot comment on them. We have stopped at 3 villas on this community and this villa was up to the same high standard and did not disappoint. We would definately stop here again.

Cumbrian Lakes is a lovely community, and very well situated for the parks and attractions, although nicely tucked away to be peaceful. It is nice that hear that you found the area safe for your girls to wander around the estate and play area, especially to go alligator spotting - hope that they found some - what stories to tell when they are back to school!   Totally enjoyed staying at this house!! My husband looked at a lot of rental properties and decided on this one. I am soooo glad he did. I have been to Florida 9 times in my life- this was the best place to stay. The house is spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and showers were nice. My whole family (husband and two teenage kids) loved the pool. We swam several times a day. Loved the ipod docking station. My kids played music while getting ready in the mornings- loved it. The fact that is in a gated community made me feel so safe. The location was perfect. It is 2 to 3 minutes from Hwy 192. We were close but not that close that you heard all the traffic. It was so peaceful. Liz who came to see us on the first day was very nice and had helpful information. I have already shown several people the pics of the house and the website. I want to come back next year!!

As you say the villa is peaceful but ideally located for all the attractions and not far from Hwy 192 where you can easily get all your shopping, restaurants and access to the parks. The pool is private and south facing which is why we chose this premium plot when the house was first built. The villa was recently refurbished and decorated, including new mattresses for the beds so I am pleased you found them comfortable.   This was our first time renting a home in Florida, so we were quite cautious and skeptical. Christine provided us with such great instructions and provided my family with everything we needed not knowing that we even needed it at the time. The house was clean, comfortable and in such a beautiful and safe community. I would definitely rent there again the next time we go to Florida. I've recommended this place to all my friends and family if they decide to visit Florida. Christine, thanks for taking the stress out in our vacation planning. It was a pleasure....

  Hi Christine - we had a brilliant time in Florida, your villa was spot on and exceeded our expectations. A colleague at work today enquired how we found the villa; I explained to them that some villas you find are run like a business and lack the attention to detail whilst others are definitely owned by owners who genuinely care and take pride in their holiday home. Your villa unreservedly falls into the latter category. The decor, furnishings, equipment etc. were way above what you would reasonably expect. You have a lovely holiday home and it was a pleasure to stay there; I will also write a review for your website. A thank you to your management company who resolved the wi-fi password issue within a day; after being given the new password we encountered no further problems with the wi-fi throughout our stay . The only technical hitch was with the cable TV/Modem; one morning we woke up and were unable to to receive a transmission and the cable box (the one next to the TV) was repeatedly trying to reboot the system and kept failing. I turned everything off for a couple of minutes (usually works with a SKY box) however this didn't work. As we were going out for the day rather than call the management company we decided just to leave it in case it was a fault with cable company itself. When we returned to the villa and turned on the TV cable box it automatically rebooted without any problems and began receiving the cable programs we did not experience any further problems. Unsure if a power cut during the night has caused the problems as the alarm clock had reset.

  we had a fabulous 2 week holiday in the villa which was in immaculate condition and of spacious dimensions to easily accomodate myself and husband, two adult children with their partners, my mother in law, and a family friend!! the location is ideal near to supermarkets, yet in a lovely quiet development. the men were well pleased as several golf courses were within easy reach . we do love florida and return year after year, and would definately return to this villa and certainly recommend it to our friends.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  My husband & I have stayed at this villa on both of our visits to Florida, thefirst was our honeymoon in September 2008 and more recently in October 2010. We found the villa to be very clean and well maintained and it had everything we needed to have a relaxing & thoroughly enjoyable holiday. It is on a gated complex, the only one we saw on Poinciana and this made us feel very safe and secure. The villa is ideally located for the Disney & Universal Parks which are only a 15 min drive away. If you are looking to venture further afield to say the beaches on either coastline, then the main freeway is only a 10 min drive away. The restaurants, bars and local shops and supermarkets are a 5 min drive away and there are plenty to choose from. Of all the hundreds of things to do and places to visit, our favourite is the very quaint, somewhat quirky Town called Celebration. We sat and relaxed over delicious ice cream whilst watching the alligators watching the fisherman. We can't recommend this villa highly enough and can't wait to return!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

  AS A FAMILY OF 4, SOMETIMES 5, WE HAVE OVER THE LAST 15 YEARS BEEN VERY REGULAR VISITORS TO THE ORLANDO AREA AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE YEAR. WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT, THE BEST LOCATION, THE PROPERTY THAT MEETS OUR REQUIREMENTS, AND OF COURSE, THE RIGHT PRICE. WE FOUND THIS PROPERTY TO MEET ALL THESE HENCE WE HAVE BEEN REGULAR VISITORS OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS. WHEN NOT AVAILABLE TRIED ELSEWHERE BUT ALWAYS RETURNED NEXT TIME. CUMBRIAN LAKES HAS A GOOD MIX OF FULL TIME OCCUPIED PROPERTIES AND PART TIME LET WHICH PROVIDES BETTER SECURITY AND MORE STABILITY THAN OTHER DEVELOPMENTS. LOCATION IS KEY TO US WITH THE PARKS, GOLF COURSES, SHOPPING MALLS, DRINKING & EATING ESTABLISHMENTS ALONG THE 192 ROAD ALL WITHIN EASY COMMUTE BUT FAR ENOUGH AWAY NOT TO BE ON YOUR DOORSTEP. THE HOUSE IS TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD AND REGULARLY REDECORATED TO MAINTAIN THE STANDARDS YOU WOULD WISH FOR. PLENTY OF PRIVACY AROUND THE POOL WHICH IS NOT ALWAYS A GIVEN AT MANY SIMILAR PROPERTIES. MOST IMPORTANT FOR NEW VISITORS IS THE BACK UP OF THE LOCAL AGENTS WHO RESOLVE ANY ISSUES QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY WHICH IS A MUST IN AN AREA YOU MIGHT NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH. WE HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMENDING THIS PROPERTY TO FAMILIES BUT PREFERABLY NOT WHEN WE WANT TO USE IT AS WE DON'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

  We stayed in Cumbrian Lakes for 3 weeks in September this year. The property is really well located; only a 5 minute drive from the Disney area and about 15 minutes away from the Universal parks. The property was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. The gated community of Cumbrian Lakes was peaceful and felt very safe and secure, and yet was only a few minutes drive from a wide range of restaurants, shops and Old Town. We stayed here in a couple, but it would also make a great place to stay for a family holiday as the property contains every facility you can think of to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. We would highly recommend this property, it provides the perfect luxurious and relaxing base to come back to after a day at a theme park, shopping mall or other tourist attraction!
