Our Norris Lake Vacation Rental Home has three floors each with bedrooms and a full bath. We have recently built an additional large three-bedroom, two-bath wing onto the house. This arrangement works very well for one or more families vacationing together.
We can rent the house with all seven bedrooms, or as the original 4BR/3BA arrangement by closing off the new addition. We reserve the right to only rent the full house during the peak season to maximize the use of the entire house.
The main floor consists of a large kitchen, a dining area that opens into the great room, all on hard wood floors. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and dresser. There is also a full bath and a laundry room.
The upstairs has the master bedroom which includes a king-size bed, writing table and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.
The basement has two bedrooms with two queen beds each. They share a full bath. Outside of the bedroom is a pool table and television.
The new addition consists of a master suite with king bed and its own bathroom. Two additional bedrooms each have two queen beds and doors opening to the lakeside deck. The bedrooms share the second bathroom in the addition.
The large kitchen has all modern amenities including two refrigerators (see features below).
The smoke-free house is located where the Powell River and Davis Creek meet, about ten minutes down river from Flat Hollow Marina, and 15 minutes north of Springs Boat Dock. Both marinas have pumps, watercraft for rent and a grill. Additionally, you may bring your own boat and dock it in one of two covered slips provided at the base of the stairs leading from the house to the lake. The nearest ramp to launch a boat is a half mile from our driveway.
If you enjoy recreation on the lawn, there is a half-acre area beside the driveway ideal for horseshoes, crocket, badminton or the like.
This Norris Lake Vacation Rental has over 240 feet of shoreline and is set on five acres for maximum privacy. You will enjoy exploring the beautiful blue-green waters that span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. Across the lake from the house is the Chuck Swan Wildlife Management Area, which occupies 24,444 acres on the Central Peninsula on the east shores of Norris Lake. Sit on the wraparound deck facing the lake and enjoy the tranquility.
It is an everyday occurrence to see deer, turkey and a lot of other animals feeding and watering all around the lake. That is what makes Norris Lake an ideal environment for nature lovers, sportsmen and vacationers alike.
There is always something to do on the lake! The fishing is great here at Norris Lake, year round and offers an abundance of Striped Bass (rockfish), Largemouth, Small-Mouth and Spotted Bass, the Walleye, Crappie, Catfish and Bluegill (bream).
Not quite the fisherman? Not a problem. There are plenty of things to do on site at Norris Lake or in the surrounding area. Listed below are just a few of things you might find.

We reserve the right to rent complete weeks particularly during the peak seasons.
Although we welcome the opportunity to rent to everyone, we cater to families and avoid rowdy groups. This helps us keep a our place in good condition for all guests.
To reserve your dates, we ask that you send a signed copy of the rental agreement (which will be sent to you) along with half the rent plus the security deposit ($500). The balance of rent, taxes and cleaning fee is due 60 days prior to check-in.
We reserve the right to rent full weeks during any of the peak season rather nightly.
