We loved everything about this house. We have two small children and the home was stocked with movies, games, and pool toys for them to play with. The pool is very well maintained and the beautiful beach was just a minutes walk away. We really felt at home here and enjoyed spending time in the hammock as well as the super clean hot tub. The owners have really thought of everything to make this home comfortable and enjoyable for their guests. I am currently looking to book again for next year and probably many years to come.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We loved staying at this house! The house had everything you would need to be comfortable. Beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable.Listing description was accurate and the photos reflect the apprearance as the house really is. Property was clean and well maintained. The owner was great to work with and replied to my emails and was very helpful in recomending restaurants to visit. Can't wait to stay here again next year!

We have stayed here 6 out the last 8 years, and we spend at least a month of the early fall going through withdrawal! It has everything you need, is close to beach but on a quiet cul-de-sac. And I would have to agree that a trip to the Outer Banks would not be complete without at least one trip to Tortuga's :)

We stayed in this lovely home from 09/5 to 09/12/09. It is beautifully decorated and we especially loved the gourmet kitchen, hot tub, and easy beach access. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative. But, if you have to stay indoors, you may as well be surrounded in luxury. We also attended nearby attractions ie; Aquarium, Mall, Thrift Stores and Restaurants.

What a great place! Our family (2 parents, 3 Adult kids) had such a great week. The place is immaculate, beautifully decorated with upscale amenitites, and perfectly located - literally across the street from the beach access stairs. One door down from the lovely clean (and sizeable) community pool. The kitchen was so completely equiipped we saved money by taking turns cooking most nights. Yet the place is so centrally located you are within minutes of many cool restaurants (Tortugas' Sushi night anyone?)as well as the Food Lion and Mall. We really liked the lovely deck furniture - rockers and outdoor table - which many homes do not have, AND the great hammock. We plan to return next year. The place is a gem!
