This second-floor duplex at 2634 Asbury Ave. has been completely renovated to include all new paint, and carpeting in bedrooms as well as Pergo laminate flooring throughout first floor. NEW Granite countertops just installed! Bedroom one has a queen-size bed, two has a queen-size bed, and three has two twin beds with trundles. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom. We have a TV/DVD in the master bedroom, bedroom #2 @ #3 have tvs. The family room has a new flat screen TV with a DVD. There is a stereo in the property. The family room has new Pergo flooring with a fireplace and the sofa has a pull out queen bed and love seat. The bathrooms have been updated with new tile flooring, toilets, and vanities. The house is painted neutral throughout with a shore theme.
There is a deck off the front as well as a deck of the back of the house with access through the master bedroom. There is plenty of storage with a storage room out back with an outside shower. In the back of the house is parking for one car and parking is available in the front.
Kessler's Corner is right up the street for an evening stroll for ice cream or Uncle Bill's Pancake House is a few blocks away. The beach is a short two-block walk from the house. Also within a few blocks is Hoys 5 & 10, Dairy Queen, Wawa and Acme for easy shopping.

We had a great week in OC and the 2nd floor property worked for us. The renter was very nice when we were unsure of being able to come due to flooding issues at home. She told us to extend our time a day if we came one day late. But that may have been only possible due to it being empty the week after ours. Internet access is not wifi since you have to plug in your laptop and can't move more than five feet away from the tv in living room. The property was clean on the surface but it needs a deep cleaning. The vaccum is terrible and there was no good way to clean up sand, etc. Apparently there were beach chairs that we were to have access to, but there were none there. It would of been helpful to have information posted about the property at the house. A wii was advertised but there were no games. Our kids were very disappointed. The location to the beach was great...just a 2 1/2 block walk. We had to deal with the possibility of the water being shut off as the water company showed up and thankfully we happened to be there to ask for a little more time. The renter got it taken care of but I was very glad that I had my laptop to email her and had thought to ask for her phone number (again, these things should be posted at the house). We didn't enjoy the possibility of cutting our vacation short mid-week and heading home due to no water. It just wasn't something we thought that we should have to deal with on vacation. It also took me following up with the renter to get our security deposit returned. We loved the restaurant that was just 1 1/2 blocks away. If it is windy, get ready to hear it loud and clear in the master bedroom as the back door is not sealed properly. Dark curtains on the bedroom windows would of been nice to keep out the sunlight early in the morning.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
