Our incredible apartment in Paris combines stunning views and balcony with an enviable location on the Left Bank in Paris, a beautiful and welcoming apartment for your stay in Paris. It is undoubtedly one of the most romantic apartments in Paris, which you will appreciate as you watch the sun set behind the Eiffel Tower from your first-row seat on the balcony. Toast the view each evening or enjoy café au lait on the bistro table each morning.
There is one large bedroom and bath. This apartment measures 560 square feet and faces west, so incredibly light and sunny. It offers a warm and romantic stay in Paris. Important features include: * Unobstructed view from the balcony off the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars Park - stay in Paris and overlook the dark courtyard on the inside of the building? Not an option! * Sixth floor of the building (seventh floor American) with elevator - apartment is light and high above street. * Windows and French doors are new with the best quality sound insulation available. * Late 1800s building means old world charm and beautiful features.
Enter our Pinot apartment and turn right to enter the living room. It is a beautiful double-size room that was opened up to create a feeling of space and light. You are immediately drawn to the balcony; two pairs of French doors lead onto the balcony to breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower to the right, gardens of the Champ de Mars and Parisian life below. A round marble bistro table and chairs sit on the balcony for you to enjoy croissants and café au lait each morning, or toast the sunset in the evening. At Paris Perfect, we believe that a crucial element of your stay in Paris is to be able to enjoy this kind of view - whether for the first or 50th time.
It is wonderful to watch the day unfold below: parents taking children to school, people buying their morning and evening baguettes, coming back from the market with their shopping baskets full, or joining friends for an espresso at the café on the corner. A great view is an important factor to consider when choosing an apartment in Paris. It is extremely difficult to find apartments with views and balconies, so our selection is small, but we are uncompromising in our standards. We have remodeled it to make your stay as comfortable and delightful as possible.
Between the two French doors stands a pretty antique commode and mirror. On the right is the sofa, which converts to a comfortable double-size bed for sleeping at night. Additionally, we have a folding twin mattress available as an extra sleeping option.
Comfortable chairs face the sofa, important for relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing. An antique Chinese rice box serves as the coffee table, with an English silver plate tea service from the 1940s. In the corner, find a DVD player which is compatible with American movies, so you can bring your favorites with you. The stereo means you can listen to your favorite CD of music with a glass of wine in the evening. The TV has cable so you can watch CNN, CNBC, Sky News, and sample all of the French channels as well.
The small kitchen of the apartment is on your left, with all the conveniences you need to prepare a gourmet meal: convection oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, four-burner stove, toaster, coffee maker, and white porcelain dishes.
The dining area sits in front of French doors on the left hand side. It is in pale beechwood and comfortably seats up to six people.
Walk down the corridor of the apartment to find the bathroom on your right. This is a spacious room by French standards, with window overlooking the courtyard. There is a bathtub with shower, sink, washer/dryer, and shelves for storage. The countertop is white marble and contrasts nicely with the white tiles surrounding the bathtub.
The toilet is next on your left, convenient for 'getting ready' as it is separate from the bathroom. Find a large closet on the right of the hallway, with plenty of hanging and storage space.
The large bedroom is at the back of the apartment rental and overlooks a quiet courtyard. A pretty bay window overlooks the rooftops at the back. We restored an antique bench for this nook, for reading and simply enjoying your quiet time in Paris. The queen-sized bed is new and of the highest quality, decorated in Provencal-style toile de jouy fabric. The silk taffeta curtains add to the soft, romantic feel of this room. There are three closets on your left for storage, plus bookcase on your right.
Location of our apartment is one of the best in Paris: the apartment is surrounded by cafés, shops, and restaurants and walking distance to major monuments. It is a ten-minute walk to the Invalides, ten minutes to the Trocadéro, the Grand Palais, and the couturier's on Ave. Montaigne. Fifteen-minute walk to the Champs Elysées, 20 minutes walk to Place de la Concorde and the Bon Marché department.
One block to the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars. The Champ de Mars Park is a rare bonus in Paris as there are few large parks in the center of the city. Walk, run, play in one of three playgrounds, basketball court, go to the puppet theater, or just sit and enjoy. Nearby skating and bike rental are a fun activity in the park, especially after strenuous sightseeing.
River is three blocks away where the famous Bateau Mouche boat tours begin.
Open Markets: Rue Cler is three blocks away, one of the most famous pedestrian market streets in Paris. Pont de l'Alma is a five-minute walk and has the largest open-air market in Paris every Saturday morning. Merchants come from the country with wines, fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, patés, breads, even five types of escargots! |
