Penticton house description
You have choices at the Grapeseed Guesthouse! Book the Whole House as a vacation rental; OR book a room under our Bed and Breakfast Option (B&B Room option is usually available fall through spring only. Check for last-minute B&B Room availability in the summer.)
The Grapeseed Guesthouse offers the luxurious comfort of a home away from home. The quiet, country setting (only five minutes from downtown Penticton) is perfect for those seeking a nearby escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Guesthouse grounds include lovely gardens, a spacious yard, and a small orchard. Pines, poplars, and an apple grove surround the property.
Settle in with a good book in front of the fireplace. Take a luxurious bubble bath in the Lavender Suite tub. Bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies in the fully-equipped kitchen. Throw some steaks on the BBQ. Venture out to the gardens for a stroll. Soak in the garden hot tub, beneath the starry Okanagan sky. Or venture a bit further...
A short walk up the hill leads to Munson Mountain Park, with its spectacular view of Okanagan Lake, the city of Penticton, and surrounding orchards/vineyards. The Guesthouse is also walking distance from the KVR hiking/bicycling trail.
The Grapeseed Guesthouse is close to both downtown Penticton and the beautiful, sandy beaches of Okanagan Lake.
The numerous estate wineries of the Naramata Bench are very close. The closest, Poplar Grove Winery (ideal for both wining, dining and special events), is a five-minute walk away. A gorgeous drive will lead you to several other wineries. Book a winery tour and be chauffeured from the Guesthouse to the tasting rooms. Fall is the perfect season to visit the wineries during the Okanagan Wine Festival.
A variety of activities and events are mere minutes away from the Guesthouse. Pick apples from one of the nearby orchards. Have dinner and enjoy an evening of live music at the Dream Cafe's marvelously intimate venue. See a world-class concert at the South Okanagan Events Center. Or catch a Penticton Vees game. Hike or Bike the KVR trails. Take a day trip to Apex Mountain for fun and skiing in the snow. Or gear up and climb Skaha Bluffs.
Settle in or venture out - either way, the Grapeseed Guesthouse provides a cozy, comfortable place to stay. Relax and play your way!
