Holiday Rentals in the Provence FRANCE... Les Micocouliers (near Ganges) in the Hèrault province (54) - Sleeps eight plus baby.
Les Micocouliers, a silkworm farm from the 17th century, is situated in Moulès et Baucels, a small hamlet three kilometers from Ganges, in the Herault Region of South West France. The property has two houses, a tennis court, and swimming pool (11 by 6 meters), as well as extensive terraced gardens. Total area 10,000 m². The owner, a charming elderly lady, lives in one house (with her dog and cat) and the other house is let. Privacy for the renters is assured.
This part of France is off the beaten track, and enjoys access to the beaches of the Mediterranean (one hour) as well as the mountains (1500 meters, one hour). Locally we have lots of rivers for swimming and exploring, golf is available within half hour. There are many interesting villages to visit including St. Jean du Gard (one hour) in the famous Cevennes region. Nimes, Montpellier, and Avignon are also within easy striking distance.
The house, which is let, has four double bedrooms, three with double beds and one with bunkbeds. There are two full bathrooms, one with a separate shower, and a guest cloakroom. The kitchen, dining and living area are open plan. The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, plus its own phone line. The garden is organic.

Prices are per week in 2005.

Cost in Euros ± US Dollars equivalent (the euro prevails).
Not included in the rental prices are:
Deposit in the form of a personal cheque of €400 (euro), to be reimbursed within eight weeks after departure, in full or deducted for repairs.
Telephone as per France Telecoms bill, which will be provided within eight weeks after your stay.
Obligatory rental of linen at €10 (euro) per person for one set.
Optional: Rental of Towels: bath towel €4/pc (euro), hand towel €3/pc (euro).
Single cleaning charge of €100 (euro).
Electricity €80 (euro) per week.
For heating, if needed, €80 (euro) per week.
Arrival and Departure:
Arrival is Saturday, between 4.30 pm and 7 pm.
Departure is Saturday not later than 10 am.
Payment of Rental and Deposit:
50% within one week of making the booking. The rental is only confirmed after this down payment has been received.
50% plus deposit, eight weeks before arrival.
Cancellations:
If your cancellation reaches us 90 days before the planned arrival date, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
If your cancellation reaches us between 90 and 60 days before the planned arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
If your cancellation reaches 59 or fewer days before the planned arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. |
