Year Purchased: 2000
About the owner: My husband, David & I have been married for 25 years and have 2 beautiful children who we raised here in Englewood. We are originally from Connecticut and lived in Pawley's Island, SC for 13 years before relocating permanently in 2004. We purchased our vacation home in 2000 on vacation and knew that we wanted to live here. We kept our vacation home for family and friends to come and enjoy this beautiful area.
Why the Owner Chose Englewood: We bought our vacation home on our last day of our visit in Englewood. We had looked at properties from Anna Maria Island to Naples and Englewood had the best of all worlds. The house was a perfect size for vacation, centrally located to shopping and beaches and not an overly congested area. The neighborhood is quiet, well kept and having access to the Gulf of Mexico by boat was just what we were looking for. A 15-20 minute boat ride down the canal puts you into Lemon Bay and out Stump Pass to the Gulf. Fishing, swimming, all water related sports have always part of our family's lifestyle.
