Location specifics - the Dolphin East is located in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, 18 miles from Highway 59 on Fort Morgan Road (Route 180).
The views are breathtaking as sandpipers chase the waves and dolphins swim close by in the bright, blue water. Beach goers will enjoy the soft white sand - perfect for building sand castles or burying dad. Cool off in the community pool just 2 houses away.
The Dolphin East is part of the quiet Bay to Breakers community, a low-density development, ensuring a comfortable beach experience with plenty of privacy.
Sleeping accommodations; sleeps 15 -
* Five bedrooms plus kid's 'hang-out' room plus three full bathrooms
* Three Kings, two full, one full/twin bunk, one twin, one sleeper sofa (twin)
First floor - king-size bedroom with comfortable linens, SAT TV, and VCR. A full-size bath services both the king and an additional bedroom with a twin/full bunk and TV/VCR combination. There is also a twin-size sleeper sofa in the family room.
Second floor - the master bedroom on the second floor has a SAT TV/DVD, master bathroom, and private deck with Adirondack chairs. Additional bedrooms include one room with two new full-size beds plus SAT TV and a second bedroom with one king. Additional sleeping arrangements include twin-size day bed found in the 'hang-out' room.
Final thoughts - we are excited to offer a prime location and memorable beach escape. Each year we improve the Dolphin East as a first-rate vacation home. Our goal is to offer visitors the most carefree, fun, clean, well-equipped, beach haven.

We had a wonderful stay at this house in April 2012. It was just as nice as the photos show. We were here with our adult children, their spouses and our two little granddaughters. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but also large family areas for us to enjoy our time together. The nice screened in porch was great for when you wanted out of the sun but still wanted the views. The views and beach were great from this house. The owner was wonderful. We would stay here again for sure if ever back this way. This house is a winner!

I planned a family vacation for May 2010 and because of a family emergency had to reschedule for Sept. 2011. It was well worth the wait. The house was perfect. Right on the water and the view was breathtaking. The house is stocked with everything you could ask for. Top of the line. Anyone who chooses this location for a beach vacation will not be disappointed. Shawn, the homeowner, is great.

We stayed at this lovely home right on the beach. Had the whole family.Great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and 3 grandkids. Had the best family vacation ever!!!!!!! Can't go wrong with this place!

On the day of our wedding, the weather was mercurial, however, this did not spoil anyone's spirits or fine time. The house afforded us enough space for everything we needed, including our live musician. The house was a perfect setting, and the boardwalk with the beach view was fantastic.

We had an awesome time here doing everything from building sand castles and laying on the beach to just hanging around on the deck. This house was WAY MORE than we expected it to be; and we love how the beach was not crowded. The kids LOVED the "secret room" upstairs as they called it. (beach hang out room) We are already planning our next year's vacation here at the Dolphin East!
