Took a chance and rented online. The 110 degree Kansas July heat was my motivation. Let's see - temps between 50 and 72 degrees, river about 12 feet across green grass from your front door, nice clean corner-unit condo, plenty of parking, slept under blankets with the windows open (listening to the stream), 1-2 block walk for 2 wonderful outdoor seating breakfast restaurants (needed outdoors since we took our dog), probably 5-6 block walk to all of the downtown restaurants, etc. Impressed? Yes, we were. And, we'll return. Thanks!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend along with our two children. It is very cozy, yet spacious and clean. It is also within walking distance to restaurants and main street. My husband and I decided to stay in and make dinner one evening and the kitchen was big enough to do so. I would highly recommend!

The condo was convenient in all aspects: Within walking distance to restaurants and bars/liquor store, a coffee shop, the post office, ski shops, convenience store, and a short drive to the resort. There are parking spots basically at the foot of the condo so moving everything from the car to the condo and back is simple and effortless. Also within a short walk is a recreational center with mutliple hot tubs and pool, locker rooms with showers. The condo itself is fantastic. You enter into the family room which is great for playing cards, relaxing and watching movies at the end of an exhausting ski day, or making a fire and kicking back. There is a full kitchen with bar seating all of which is tied in with the family area so whoever is cooking is not separated from the rest of the group. This is ideal for anyone wanting to spend time in the mountains. Of course skiers are going to be attracted to this. I think the nonskier will get just as much out of their time there as the condo itself is on the edge of a beautiful stream with a walking path that is perfect for anyone looking to stretch their legs and walk their dog.

I love this condo. I have stayed there several times - it is always clean and comfortable. The fireplace makes it really cozy. It's centrally located in winter park and has a river right outside the front door.

I have stayed here a few times, and throughly enjoy it. Its a simple end unit condo that has everything you need to enjoy your mountain stay. Not just winter either, a big creek right out the front door. Great Fall and Summer. Mountain biking trails close by. Walking distance to downtown on the footpaths. Just a overall great place to stay.

We so enjoyed our stay in this cozy condo on the River. There was plenty of room for all of us! Loved listening to the Fraser River and walking in to town for dinner and drinks. Also so convienent to just hop on the shuttle to the ski area. This place had EVERYTHING we needed. We literally just brought out bags! I highly recommend this condo for a great place to stay in Winter Park!

Close to the slopes and good food. 1st floor apartment makes for a great getaway up in the mountains. We came here with my family and had a fantastic time. Full kitchen, great game table, and comfortable couches for any additional guests. I would highly recommend this cozy 'country haus' to anyone looking for a quiet stay up in the mountains.

Thoroughly loved my stay a few years ago that I continue to come back every year. There are shuttle buses that run to the slopes if you don't have a car. Within walking distance to great pizza place and little breakfast cafe as well. I would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a nice condo in town. Already looking forward to my trip this coming season.

A few friends and I stayed at the condo last March and had a fabulous time. The condo was clean and comfortable and close to great bars. It was just a quick drive to the mountain and after a long day of skiing the hot tub felt great.

I've stayed at this condo twice and I've had a good experience each time. It's very cozy and clean. It's close enough to Winter Park ski resort and to tons of restaurants! The pool and hot tubs are just a short walk away and was perfect for after a day of boarding. The clubhouse staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

My family had a great time in this condo. We had 6 people and never felt cramped or confined. All the amenities and comforts of home were found here. Access to the skiing of winter park is very close and the nearby ski bus makes getting to the slopes a breeze even without a car. Lots of dining options are nearby and some fun nightlife as well. Walking outside to the sounds of a stream made waking up every morning a fantastic experience. I plan on staying here in the future and would highly recommed it.

I've stayed here a few times and will definitely be back. This place has everything you need for a peaceful mountain getaway. Easy access to town & mountain, fireplace, kitchen bar to gather, comfy beds, super easy-going owners, and a river right outside your door. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We had a wonderful time and the newly remodeled unit was cozy and just the perfect size for our family. Its convenient location to town, the clubhouse and the free ski shuttle was extremely helpful. Also, the first floor end-unit with parking located right outside the door made it really easy to load and unload all our ski gear, groceries, etc.

It's a nice place that has everything you need. It's close to the hill, and has pubs and restaurants all in walking distance. It has a wonderful fireplace to warm your feet after skiing and blush furniture that you can sink into and relax while your watching tv. Beds are comfortable and you can fit a good number of people without being packed in. It also has a nice facility close by that has a pool and a hot tube that we made good use of after a the hills. I really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

I've stayed at this condo twice and both times have been fantastic. It is a cozy place, but spacious enough to handle 5-6 adults. It's a short drive to Winter Park/Mary Jane (my favorite place to ski) and the location in central Winter Park is perfect. The hot tub is nearby which makes it easy to have a soak after a hard day of skiing, and then it's a short walk to Hernados Pizza Pub--in my opinion the best pizza in Colorado. I am already looking forward to my next trip back to Winter Park and I will be staying at the Hi Country Haus!

We stayed at this condo a year and it was pretty awesome. It was walking distance to some cool restaurants and bars. The place was clean, quite, and right by a nice little trickling brook. I haven't even mentioned the hot tubs...great place to relax after a nice day of skiing. We will for sure stay there again when we head back to Winter Park to take on Mary Jane.
