Tropical paradise on the Big Island of Hawaii. A romantic vacation awaits you in our delux condo. You are just steps away from the beach as you visit our beautiful oceanfront condos with all the amenities and all the conviences of home. There are two great pools, one a salt water pool with waves crashing over the side, as it sits on the ocean. There is a fresh water pool as well as lush gardens and fountains in the interior of the complex.
There is a barbeque with a cabana on the beach, where you can cook your dinner, socialize and watch the sun set. You can talk story with incredible people who have the aloha spirit and bask in the sunshine.
There is so much to do-swim on the white sand beach (our favorite is Mauna Kea), or visit beaches with green, black, yellow or red sand, boogey board on the disappearing White Sands Beach, surf, snorkel (our favorite spot is nearby Keahou Bay), dive day and night among lava caves, whale watch, swim with dolphins, watch sea life, visit Volcanos National Park and explore lush lava caves, engage inhorse back ride, ride a bike, run the Iron Man,visit a waterfall and swim in the cool pool, see tropical gardens and buy orchids, eat, drink and be merry, rest, relax or run all over the Big Island.

- These delux ocean front condos have a king-queen sized bed and a couch that is queen sized-so they sleep four comfortably, There is original artwork on the walls and the bedrooms have ample closet/dresser space, They are recently refurbished and sparkling clean, A welcome basket awaits you, as you enter, There is a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, a stove and oven, mirowave, sink, coffee maker and refridgerator, as well as laundry facitilies, There is a dining area and a living room with a couches and a chair, a TV, VCR/DVD and stereo, There is a lanai with an ocean view to sip your coffee and eat breakfast while watching the ocean and breathing the sea air, It is not to be missed! You can eat inside, on the lanai or outside in the barbeque area by the ocean and beach, The bathroom has a double sink, all the linens and towels plus a blow dryer, You will feel comfortable, relaxed and ready to swim in the salt water or fresh water pool!

- Swimming on a white sand beach-Mauna Kea is our favorite, snoreling on nearby Keauhou Bay with sea turtles, tropical fish and manta rays, Hiking in Volcanos National Park and to the lava caves, diving at night, boogy boarding, swimming in the two pools, taking crusies, walking on the beach picking up shells, watching the sunset, mule and horse back riding, helicoptor rides, waterfalls in Hilo-Akaka and Hikiau-with tropical forests and swimming in the cool pools below, tropical gardens with waterfalls and orchids, watching the stars in the best air on Mauna Kea, running in the Iron man, dancing the hula at a luau, whale watching, swimming with dolphins, watching lava flow to the sea, visiting Hawaiian cowboys, visiting the City of Refuge, drinking Kona coffee and eating macadamian nuts with chocolate on them, learning about Hawaiian history, culture, and music, We would be happy to share our adventures with you, just give us a call-510 521-7889
Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$115/weekendnights-$115 weekday nights-$775 a week-2900 a month-double occupancy.
$75 cleaning fee, 11.416% sales tax.
Discounts given for stays over 7 nights and for weekday stays.
$500 initial deposit is required/or 1/2 rental rate-whatever is more.
Full payment due 45 days in advance. Reservations not confirmed without deposit.
Friday to Friday stay preferred-minimum 5 days-ask if your stay varies.
Maximum number of guests-4 (one unit has a futon and could sleep a family with
three children-5). Need reservation or rates subject to change without notice.

BEWARE- NOT AS ADVERTISED- Unit is Dated 30+ years, Not Refurbished as Stated

The photos and description of the unit are false and misleading. We rented the unit for 4 weeks (Jan21-Feb15 2011) and were completely appalled with what we walked into. I will list everything below that is incorrect in the photos and description presented. Photos in AD: First photo and Third photos are not from the unit’s lanai. Description in AD is misleading: Deluxe condo- will never cross your mind. Ocean Front Condo- Unit is an Ocean Side unit with limited Ocean views. No dining area just a breakfast bar. No “Welcoming Basket” as stated. VACATION RENTAL FEATURES AT BOTTOM OF LISTING -OTHER AMENITIES: Ad states unit is Refurbished- refurbish means to rebuild or replenish with all new material; to restore to original (or better) working order and appearance. This unit appears to be in its original condition from when it was built 40+ years ago. This has not been done, maybe why no pictures of the unit. Telephone- Nope. LIST OF ISSUES THAT WE HAD FROM THE BEGINNING: Shower- is in bad shape and definitely has not been refurbished, appears to be original. A standalone shower with a shower head pointing directly at that the shower door. You must enter shower and close door before turning on water. Shower door- old and patched across the bottom numerous times. Does not close properly and leaks into the bathroom. The shower head points directly at the shower door. We reported to maintenance and owner. Maintenance man stated that the owner agreed to replace it but never heard from the maintenance man again. Shower runs constantly- drips pretty steady, Maintenance man noted and did not fix. Patch work on bathroom walls-. Shoddy work, looks as if done by an amateur. Spackle thrown on and never smoothed out or sanded. Looks Horrible. Rust in the bathroom- The toilet paper dispenser and fold down scale, both stainless steel, old and rusted, look original. Lights in bathroom- Fluorescent lights most were burned out, maintenance man never thought to replace them. Appliances -were old. Washer and Dryer were loud. Cold water shut off valve leaks when the washer runs. Reported to the maintenance man but left unrepaired. Hung towel on the valve so it would not leak all over the floor Closets- were full with owner’s “stuff”. Did not have room on floor for even shoes. Fully Stocked kitchen-You have enough to get by with but there is nothing for baking or even a broiler tray for steaks. BOTTOM LINE – Stay away from this unit, not worth the money, it is a dump
