We purchased this home in August of 2013. It has been completely updated, furnished and decorated for our future retirement home. The home sits on large corner lot just outside the El Dorado and Vintage Country Club in the heart of an upscale residential neighborhood. Third bedroom has queen bed, designer linens and en suite bath with shower and opens out to back yard, pool/spa. All bedrooms have glass sliding doors leading outside and they are all private from one another. There is an office/den with desk and futon/couch that can sleep 2. Internet access throughout house. The soothing backyard is totally private, spacious, and well furnished with lounges and outdoor furniture including a covered dining table that seats 6. It has western exposure so there is plenty of sunshine. The large yard features an oversized NEW (2014) PEBBLE SHEEN SALT WATER POOL and SPA. There are 10 citrus trees that you can pick your own delicious ruby red grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes, and figs. A Weber gas grill is provided. At night the backyard lighting aluminates the pool and palm trees. A magnificent sight. You are within walking distance to restaurants, night time entertainment and dancing and only a mile away from the trendy El Paseo with high end shopping and restaurants. A mile in the other direction enjoy the $65million Indian Wells Golf Resort and 'IW Club'. The resort boasts two PGA level 18 hole courses. Indian Wells is also the home of one of the largest tennis tournaments in the world, the PNB Paribas with over 300 top ranked tennis pros who compete for 2 weeks each March. Next door in the city of La Quinta, is host to the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic), held at the end of January. Meet famous pros and celebrities as they compete at one of 3 golf courses with the final at the famed Arnold Palmer course at PGA West. And if you are a golf enthusiast, there are over 130 courses to choose from throughout the Coachella Valley. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails, art shows, etc.. This home is in the center of it all. However, the home is not 'child friendly” as the pool is not fenced so no children under age 7 should be in the party.
