Hamilton mobile home description
Welcome to Cackleberry Cottage, our 1959 Art Craft Vacation Rental.
This one and a half bedroom, one bath mobile home sits in a private, tucked away corner of our property. We are located two miles south of Hamilton Montana, in the magnificent Bitterroot Valley.
Cackleberry Cottage is an overnight, weekly, or monthly rental; fully furnished and ready to be lived in.
The bedroom has a queen bed and the couch in the living room folds out for additional sleeping space if needed.
There is wireless internet and great cell phone coverage. There is not, however, a television, washer, dryer or telephone.
This mobile home belongs to my parents, who live in it about three months each year. It was lovingly 'rescued' from abandonment, brought to our property, and subsequently renovated as a family project. We have filled it with so many happy memories, and hate to see it sit empty when my parents are back at their main residence in CA.
Cackleberry Cottage overlooks beautiful pasture land with the Sapphire mountains in the distance. Only one neighbor house can be seen past the cottage, where our little dirt road dead ends. The cottage has it's own access road, separate from our home, and there is a privacy fence between the back of the cottage and the side yard of our house, so privacy is complete for both of us.

About the owner: We are a family of four, living the good life in God's beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Brian is a master electrician, and I (Megan) am a homeschool mom who raises our two young children during the day, and teaches at local gyms in the evenings. We play around at homesteading our two acres, with a flock of chickens, a pound dog, and a pet rat.
