Gem of a place!
Gem of a place!
What a gem of a place. The view is breathtaking! My girlfriends and I went for a girls weekend and never wanted to go home. We never got tired of the view. We had breakfast outside on the front patio. We enjoyed reading our books in the sun on the front lawn while getting distracted by the mountains. We strolled along the beach turning over rocks and collecting sand dollars. We had lunch on the picnic table down by the water. We kayaked along the shoreline and viewed the crystal clear water beneath us. We enjoyed an afternoon of drinks and snacks in the boat house while of course enjoying the spectacular view. I spent many hours taking pictures of the changing view. The house is immaculately clean. It is very spacious with a comfortable sectional. We hung out playing games and relaxing on the sofa while enjoying the view of course. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils and more than the basic food items you need to cook. Central Market near downtown Pouslbo is a gourmet grocery store with fresh fish, tasty cheese, great selection of wine, and more. We cooked most of our meals there but we did venture to town for a meal. We never wanted to leave, yet we did to explore the towns of Poulsbo and Port Gamble. Both adorable towns with great food and quaint shops with unique gifts. There are lots of local artists selling their goods. The towns are right on the water and there is plenty to do there. We plan on renting this house every year for our girls weekend. Its a quick and easy drive from Seattle but feels like hours away from our busy city life.

A peaceful home away from home
A peaceful home away from home
I had a wonderful girls weekend away at this lovely beachfront house. There was more than enough room for all 6 of us and the house was beautifully decorated and well stocked. The views are amazing and the boathouse will blow you away. We are all looking forward to doing it again this summer as we had so much fun.

About the owner: Born and raised on the East coast, my husband and I spent time in the mid-west, the Bay Area, even the Philippines before settling in Kirkland, WA a little over nine years ago. Two children later, we've determined that the Pacific Northwest is truly an amazing place to live and raise a family. Rain and all, we embrace everything that this area has to offer and are happy to call it home!
Why the Owner Chose Poulsbo:
We purchased this as a second home due to a desire to be near the water and experience the raw beauty of the Northwest. We have enjoyed it so much that we feel the need to share it with others and hope they will love it as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house itself is beautiful and charming, and the views will take your breath away. What really makes this home special are the boathouse and beach area. The boathouse allows you to enjoy the beach and water views no matter what the weather. On warm days you can sit at the bar with a glass of wine or a margarita and enjoy the scenery, and when it's cold you can sip some hot chocolate and turn on the propane heater and still make the most of being by the water.
