Our ecologically built houses (each 85 m²), surrounded by horse pastures, are located on a sunny southern slope. On the ground floor you will find a living room with an open, completely furnished kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven. The pellet oven, rustic tiling and timber floorboards on the top floor, tasteful wood furniture and wooden decks make sure you feel comfortable and give it that cottage feeling. Furthermore, you will find a double bedroom and a bathroom with heated flooring. By taking comfortable wooden stairs, you will get to the gallery which has Sat-TV, DVD and a sleeper sofa, a cuddly bedroom with 2 beds and sofa bed and a room with a washer. The colourful images from the famous artist Rosina Wachtmeister - who is our guest every year -make for a southern flair. Relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy the view of the valley and the stable nearby. Or spend a romantic evening around a camp-fire in an Indian tepee.
Children get to know horses - Hippolini: This course (certified teacher) offers children and their parents the possibility to dive into the horse world and to build their first contact with these amazing animals. The goal here is to build a solid basis for respectful, unafraid and sensitive contact with horses. Riding for adults at our stable is only available with your own horse due to the lack of suitable school horses. An indoor riding ring, outdoor riding ring and round-pen are available with prior arrangements made with the neighbouring riding stables. For adults without a horse, there is the possibility to go riding at a stable 10 km away - also covered wagon rides. Start from our horse back riding station by the Saarland riding path. Our horse trainer, Marc Schuster, takes care of the education and correction of horses. For tournament preparation with your own horse and riding hours (western riding techniques) Bettina Kulle (trainer C, experienced tournament director - experience through the German championship).
Indian Tepee and Children's Birthdays: Our original Indian tepee, with a diameter of 8 m, offers a comfortable get-together around a camp fire and doesn't only make the children's hearts race! The energy and atmosphere of our tepee makes any event something special - whether it be a birthday party, seminar or family reunion - they will all become an unforgettable experience in our Indian tepee. Host a seminar in the tepee by the light of the fire. Enjoy the beautiful starry sky or search for peace in nature by observing horses in a pasture. Combine your vacation with a special birthday party for your child. We offer a great program for this where the children will be looked after by 2 elementary school educationalists: Indian face paint, making Indian jewellery and a small medicine bag, Indian games, gemstone search, treasure hunt, Indian stories while eating damper bread, building dream catchers, bow and arrow shooting. With our offers we reached the 3rd place in the landlord competition 2008.
Relax, rejuvenate and 'Gudd Gess' in Saarland: You can enjoy swimming and water-sports 5 km away in the Losheim reservoir. If there is bad weather, we recommend the spa in Merzig. There you can relax in warm waters or in the beautiful sauna facilities while your children are playing in the swimming area on the giant slide. After this, go shopping in Merzig and then enjoy culinary delights in one of the several restaurants where dishes from France and Saarland are offered - people from Saarland place a lot of value on their kitchen. You can also drink a good glass of wine in the garden of your vacation home and enjoy the sunset. If you want to explore the surroundings, you can hike through the beautiful premium hiking trails or observe the famous wolf and behavior researcher Werner Freund at his open-air enclosure. You can sail, bike or hike around the famous Saar loop.

The vacation homes are all furnished the same. They are located offset from each other so that the guests do not disrupt each other. Every house has its own sunny garden area and is separated optically from the others through a plant-fence by the entrance. The parking spaces are found on the access route to the houses. You will feel like you are in the southern Mediterranean through your blue house door and blue wood lays, Mediterranean plants like bananas, oleanders, rosemary, lilacs, roses, colourfully planted flower tubs and the chirping of countless crickets. From the houses you can see a pasture for horses and a large Indian tepee - you can walk past these and it will take you directly into the forest and into the gorge trail. The property is optimal for families and pairs or groups that want to go on vacation together, but still want to have their private space. Children and pets can play undisrupted and without danger, because the street going to the city is far away.

Unser Aufenthalt( 1 Erw., 2 Kinder, 1 Hund) war leider nur sehr kurz, aber schön.Das Haus ist gemütlich ( vorallem der warme Pelletofen trägt zur Atmoshäre bei) und liebevoll eingerichtet, es liegt sehr schön inmitten der Natur.Sehr zu empfehlen!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

If you are after a busy village with restaurants and bars this location is not for you. If you want utter peace and quiet, beautiful night skies in a lovely house Bellana is fantastic. We are a couple with teenaged boys and we found the house a beautiful place to return to each day, with every comfort you could need. (The beds were really comfy!) There is just one Gasthof in the village,"Zur Linde" but we were made very welcome there and the chicken was delicious! There is plenty to do in the area, Trier and Saarbug are both within easy reach. We found lovely walks around the Saar loop and to the Ruine Montclair to name a couple. Mettlach with its Villeroy and Boch outlets is worth a visit. For quiet, sunny days there is the lake at Losheim but we also loved the beautiful open air pool at Mettlach. We all thought the people of Saarland were some of the friendliest and nicest people we have ever met and made our holiday all the more special! One thing I would say that some understanding of German is helpful as all instructions in the house are in German only.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Ein sehr gemütliches Haus, sehr sauber, so richtig zum wohlfühlen...Das beste Ferienhaus, das wir bisher kennengelernt haben... Für uns - 2 Paare im Kurzurlaub - war es der ideale Aufenthaltsort. Wir wandern gerne und die Umgebung ist wirklich abwechslungsreich. Touren sind gut ausgeschildert und in Prospekten beschrieben. Es lohnt sich, das Saarland zu entdecken.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The garden and surrounding countryside was beautiful . The house easily accommodated us and our four children (who also enjoyed a horse riding with Marlies).We were made to feel very welcome and we were very sorry to leave......which is why we are coming back this year!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Wir haben Ende August 2008 einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub im Haus 3 verbracht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und liebevoll dekoriert; so was ist in Ferienhäusern durchaus nicht selbstverständlich. Besonders genossen haben wir unsere Sonnenbäder in den überaus bequemen Gartenliegen! Das im Vorhinein bestellte Bauernfrühstück war grandios; so reichhaltig wie eine komplette Mahlzeit. Im Haus war eine toller Restaurantführer für die nähere und weitere Umgebung vorhanden, der sehr hilfreich ist, das kulinarische Saarland zu entdecken. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die nette Betreuung durch die gesamte Vermieterfamilie; wir fühlten uns wirklich als " willkommene Feriengäste ". Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir unseren Osterkurzurlaub 2009 auch wieder in den Ferienhäusern Bellana verbringen wollen.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

Unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtete Haeuser, die ich jederzeit an beste Freunde und Familie ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen werde! Sie sind sehr gepflegt und sauber! Die Umgebung bietet beste Erholung: viel Ruhe mit viel Wald und Wiesen bieten viele Moeglichkeiten fuer Wanderungen unterschiedlicher Distanzen. Hier ist wirklich fuer jeden was dabei! Wer lieber Shoppen geht oder weniger Ruhe moechte, kann innerhalb weniger Kilometer kleine Staedte mit schoenen Einkaufsmoeglichkeiten anfahren, oder aber innerhalb einer Stunde kurz nach Frankreich reisen. Hier gibt es wunderschoene alte Staedtchen, sehr sehens- und empfehlenswert. Die reizende Betreuung ist 1a ! Wir hatten viel Spass und einen Abend auch einen geselligen Grillabend im hauseigenen original Indianertipi mit Lagerfeuer. Wer moechte kann sich auch den Pferden und Ponys naehern. Reitstunden nach Absprache sind moeglich und empfehlenswert, denn wer bisher immer schon das Beduerfnis hatte mal auf einem Pferderuecken zu sitzen, der sollte die Moeglichkeit nutzen, ich durfte diese Erfahrung selbst machen und habe mich auf Sallys Ruecken unheimlich wohl und sicher gefuehlt. Empfehlenswert ist auch die saarlaendische Kueche. Fuer einen Schwabenbauch ein bisserl deftig - aber superlecker (Kartoffelstippchen mit Rahmspecksosse). Nachdem in 5 Tagen nicht die ganze Umgebung zu entdecken ist und es so unheimlich gut gefallen hat, haben wir am Abreisetag gleich die naechste Urlaubswoche im Dezember gebucht, damit wir auch ja noch ein freies Haeuschen vormerken koennen - denn die Anfrage ist gross. Fuer Menschen, die sich intensiv erholen wollen ist dieses Feriendomizil wirklich fantastisch. Man kommt schnell zur Ruhe und kann die Zeit hier wirklich auf unterschiedliche Weise geniessen: ob beim Bummeln, beim Wandern, beim Reiten, beim Essen, bei Sonnenschein im eigenen Garten im Liegestuhl oder einfach mal den ganzen Tag auf der Couch oder im Bett, einfach genial!! Wir hatten mit 4 Personen ein Haus für eine Woche bewohnt, der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir hatten etliche Insider-Tips non den Vermietern erhalten. Im Haus befindet sich umfangreiches Informationsmaterial über die nähere Umgebung. Die Gegend ist ein Wanderparadies mit den schönsten Wanderwegen Deutschlands. Wir hatten 14 wundervolle Tage in ein ausgezeichnetes Ferrienhaus! Das besondere an dieses Haus ist nicht das de Angaben stimmen: auf die Fotos die wir im Haus gemacht haben sieht man daselbe was man auf die Fotos im Inserat sieht. Das besondere ist nicht das die Ausstatung hervorragend ist: was mann braucht ist einfach da (in der Kaffedose ist sogar Kaffee!) Das Besondere ist nicht das das Haus sauber ist: als Allergiker hab ich gesugt und gesugt aber kein Staubflocken gefunden. Das Besundere war für uns die Art und Weise worauf unsere Gastgebern da waren. Bei der Anreise bekamen wir eine ausführliche Führung durch Haus und Garten. Mit Tipps für Ausflüge usw. In den weiteren Tage viel uns immer wieder die gute, persönliche Betreung auf: Ist noch genügend Holz für den Herd da? Ist noch genügend Pulver für den Geschirrspüler da? Am zweiten schönen Sommertag standen die Liegestühle in Garten und stand eine Laterne auf dem Gartentsich. Es machte unseren Gastgebern deutlich Spass für die Gäste da zu sein ohne aufdringlig zu werden! Was immer man in den Urlaub machen wil (wir haben zB viele Burgen im Saarland, Frankreich und Luxemburg besucht) dieses Ferienhaus ist dabei das perfekte Zuhause!! Ein Zuhause wonach mann gerne zurück geht!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Wir danken für einen entspannten Urlaub in Ihrem gepflegten und gemütlichen Ferienhaus. Wir genossen die Ruhe und den abendlichen Blick auf die ausgedehnten Pferdekoppeln. Ausflüge nach Homburg, Schwarzenacker, Saarschleife und viele Orte mehr ließen auch für die Kinder keine Langeweile aufkommen. Und wenn wir uns an manch kühlem Abend nicht der angenehmen Wärme der Pelletheizung erfreuten, luden uns die sehr freundlichen und immer hilfsbereiten Gastgeber zu einem Lagerfeuer im großen Tipi ein, um bei einem Glas Wein oder Bier über Gott und die Welt zu reden. Danke für einen wunderbaren Urlaub.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Sehr schöne Häuser mit viel Holz, schöne Einrichtung!
