Welcome to our newest little gem in the idyllic town of Pacific Grove, just recently renovated and waiting for you to come relax, restore and explore. Comfortably accommodates two adults. Located right next door to our Adorable 2/1 Historic Victorian you will find everything you need for a romantic getaway, golf excursion or just a retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located in a quiet, historic neighborhood we are conveniently located close to everything. Walk to Lover’s Point just over a block away, where you can rent bicycles and kayaks or catch some rays on the beach. Pick up the walking/biking trail there which takes you to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and on to Fisherman’s Wharf. Lighthouse Avenue is just half a block up the street where you will find great shops, restaurants, coffee houses and a cinema. If you plan to stay awhile, our Farmer’s Market is held every Monday beginning at 4 p.m. just a few blocks from the house. Everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to the finest linens and towels are here for your use. We also have a full size washer and dryer in the unit. Check out our selection of books or enjoy a game of cards, checkers or dominoes. We have a selection of DVDs and a blue ray disc player or, catch your favorite show on our 40” flat screen television. Listen to your favorite sounds on our iPod player. High speed internet is available as well. Enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine on our front porch or at our little dining table in the living room near the front windows. If you prefer to hide from public sight in the a.m. you can relax at the kitchen dining table instead. A gas grill is available for your use on the back patio. Our historic home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just 1 block from Pacific Lover's Point where you can rent bicycles and kayaks, hang out at the beach or picnic along the ocean front. We are within easy walking distance to the Monterey Bay Aquarium (two free adult passes included with your stay with us) and Cannery Row via the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail where you will pass dramatic rock formations, tide-pools, small beach coves and overlooks. Just 1/2 block away you will find Lighthouse Avenue with great restaurants, shops, antique stores, a movie theater and the Monarch Grove Sanctuary, home to the Monarch Butterflies who migrate to Pacific Grove each year from mid-October to mid-February. Fisherman's Wharf in Old Monterey is less than 3 miles away and downtown Carmel (a shopper's paradise) is less than 6 miles from us. If you enjoy wine tasting, then take the scenic drive to Carmel Valley. Talk about scenic drives, don't forget to take a drive along famous Highway 1 to Big Sur and beyond. For the golf enthusiast we have Pacific Grove Golf Links located just 1/2 mile away while Pebble Beach with numerous courses including Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spanish Bay, and Spyglass is just 5 miles away. While in Pebble Beach don't forget to take in the 17 Mile Drive.

About the owner: We have a rich family history in Pacific Grove. Our parents grew up in PG (both class of '41 PG High) and our father was once a sardine fisherman on Cannery Row. Though we grew up in the Central Valley we spent time every summer in PG and Carmel Valley with our grandparents. You will find an assortment of photos of our family decorating the walls of our cottage. The photo you see here is one of my sister and me looking out the window at our Nana's home in PG taken many years ago.
Why the Owner Chose Pacific Grove: My sister and I always wanted a vacation home in PG and in 2012 we found this historic property (it's actually a triplex) and fell in love with it instantly. Our husbands also love the area and all that it offers.
