  My family and I stayed this past June, and had a wonderful time!!! The house was great, the yard was fabulous. There was always some shade on the pool, which is great if you are fair skinned. What a perfect vacation. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, with a tv in every room. There were plenty of towels for the pool, which was great, i brought my own and didn't need to. David is lovely and very accommodating. The only small thing, there was very little silverware. Probably people throw it out or take it home? We loved this place and would stay again.... As soon as possible :):):)

  My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Palm Desert Tropical Romantic Getaway. The pool and back yard area is magnificent and very relaxing. The property was very clean and well-maintained, and met our expectations. Also, the owner was quick to respond to any and all questions that we had. We recommend attending the Thursday evening street market in Palm Springs, hiking in Indian Canyon, and playing golf at the many high level courses in the area. We would certainly recommend this terrific rental property to our family and friends, as long as they do not book it on the dates that we plan on because we will return next year.

  Hello David, had another great vacation- thank you! Was hoping to book the house in Palm Desert (Belmonte Est) for next spring again, looking at March 25th (fri) through April 4th (Mon), 2011.   We have really enjoyed our stay and I want you to hold my deposit because we want to book for next year about the same time. It will likely be the same two weeks starting on a Tuesday again, but it may be one week earlier depending on our exam schedule. Can we let you know the exact dates in awhile?   We stayed in this home for 5 nights. It is nice and I would have given it a better review if not for the fact that there were various 'little' issues which resulted in something less than a perfect stay. And, I would have happily overlooked those if the owner had been willing to offer even a slight acknowledgment and offset (even just $50 - just a token.) It wasn't the money, it was the principal of it. Specifically, the problems included, a FILTHY barbecue that was unusable without US cleaning it, which was not something I wanted to do on MY vacation. TV remote batteries were dead meaning we had to share remotes. Circuit breaker problem. Broken I-Pod/Audio hook up (I had to buy a new one.) Ceiling Fan required knowledge of hidden switches, before becoming operational. Insufficient toilet paper and hammock was unusable And, most recently, owner was 5 days delinquent in returning my security deposit.

  Owner response: The little things do come up from time to time and I always do whatever is neccessary to correct these issues when they are brought to my attention, including replacing the hammock that the prvious renter had ruined.
