THE BEAR CREEK MOUNTAIN HOUSE has beautiful 360 degree mountain views of Bear Creek Canyon and surrounding mountains! It is in a cozy mountain community nestled in the foothills above Denver. Red Rocks Amphitheater is only 4 miles near.

The Bear Creek Mountain House has two units, or the whole house, to choose from: an upstairs "Treetop" cabin" and a downstairs "Patio" cabin. The Treetop Cabin and the Patio Cabin are located in the same mountain house, but are completely private from each other with no interior connection. Both cabins have wood burning stoves (and central heat), DSL high speed Internet access and Comcast cable TV, as well as their own bath, kitchen, dining, living and office areas. There is a charcoal grill which can be used by both cabins. The Treetop has one queen bedroom a hot tub and grand piano! The Patio has two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins) plus the laundry room. The units can be rented separately or together.

The mountain house is just over the mountain from the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, Bandimere Speedway and Coors Brewery. The Lariat Loop drive along Bear Creek canyon to get to the Bear Creek Mountain House is one of the most scenic in Colorado. It is gorgeous at any time of year.

From the mountain house, guests can hike/walk/bike/fish/horseback/snowshoe along Bear Creek with it's many trails and parks, ride the ski train to local ski resorts, see a live show at Red Rocks amphitheater, shop and dine in the historic towns of Morrison or Evergreen, see famous Dinosaur Ridge, or venture further into the Rocky Mountains and Denver. All are right there.

The house itself is a beautiful retreat with incredible views of the surrounding canyon and mountains. You can listen to the splashing of Bear Creek below or watch the elk and mule deer that love to hang out in the yard. The house is decorated in a rustic motif yet has high speed internet and comcast cable TV/DVD for modern conveniences.

Starry nights and full moons can be enjoyed as you fall asleep. When you wake up, take your morning tea outside and watch the native Magpies perch on the Ponderosa pine branches or the mule deer grazing.

Sun yourself outside or venture out into the Rocky Mountains. You will find that the BEAR CREEK MOUNTAIN HOUSE is relaxing and near all the Rockies have to offer, yet convenient to Denver and the city attractions.

- Pet Friendly: Old chicken coop area is fenced. Quiet animals are allowed. If you have a barker, please don't bring! Bring kennel to keep pet in when you are away. Cats will need to bring their own litter box.

- Smoking Not Allowed: If this rule is violated, the $200 deposit will be kept for smoke damages. Outside is ok, but keep in mind Colorado often has outdoor fire bans of ANY kind! Colorado also prohibits smoking in any public buildings.
