Woodland Ridge Cottage is a secluded Artist's Retreat located on five acres of pristine forest with views of the Catskills Mountains. Two bedrooms and a large bunkroom make this a perfect setting for romantic getaways or family gatherings.

Cathedral ceilings and skylights in every room combine with Hunt Country furniture and Hudson Valley antiques to create a light atmosphere of casual comfort.

The kitchen cupboards are stocked with staples like tea, coffee and spices and provide simple breakfast choices so you can settle in without having to run directly to the grocery store. There are also bed linens, towels, and toiletries provided for your convenience.

French doors in the kitchen open to a large, sunny deck with table, barbeque grill and Adirondack chairs. The garden provides fresh herbs to add flavor to your cooking and flowers for your table. Enjoy the gentle sound of flowing water from the garden sculpture created by a local artist. Nestled among the whispering pines, our Gazebo offers a quiet place for bird watching or maybe even to catch a nap.

Book shelves in the living room hold classic novels, current best sellers and selections by local authors and of local interest. Curl up by the fire in the woodstove with a good book and a steaming cup for the ultimate in relaxation.

Woodland Ridge is close to many area attractions.
BARD COLLEGE is just 15 minutes away. OMEGA INSTITUTE is less than 2 miles from our door.

Visit nearby wineries, enjoy a live performance. Experience antique planes at the Aerodrome or pick your own produce at a Ducthess County farm. The "best" may be to just sit and listen to the sounds of nature as you watch the sun setting over the mountains.
