  My husband and I stayed at the Penthouse to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Lina was very responsive to all my requests for information prior to our arrival (and during). The apartment is a lovely place and the pictures accurately reflect the apartment. The views are absolutely amazing. It takes your breath away and you can see pretty much all of Barcelona from this spot. Everything we could need was provided. The wifi connection was great and actually pretty quick. We did have an issue with the water pressure in the shower which my husband said was probably due to the fact that the pipe/cord to the showerhead leaked. I let Lina know and she did say they would get it fixed so that shouldn't be an issue for future renters. Also, the elevator stops short one level from the apartment so there are about 12-15 steps that need to be walked up. Not a problem for us but might be for handicapped or elderly. The location is also on a hill so again...could be an issue for some. However, this is also why the apartment has the FANTASTIC view. We found the neighborhood to be quite safe and did not feel concerned at all. The apartment is actually a few builidings away from a hospital but there was no great amount of noise or traffic. Didn't even know it was a hospital until we did a google earth on the neighborhood after we were there. Found a great little place called Lolola a few blocks down and we ate there 3 times. The Potato Bravas are the best I have ever had! Wish they had outside seating but can't have everything. Transportation and markets are also very close. For our taxi ride to the airport on our final morning, we simply walked down the hill to the corner and multiple taxis came by within seconds. Yes, we would stay here again. By walking the short distance to the metro, we were able to access the whole city without being in the midst of a lot of noise. Thanks for everything, Lina!

  Stayed 3 nights in early Sept. with my wife. The views are great and panoramic with included wrap around rear kitchen windows. Quiet area with easy access to most any side trip you may want. Buy a bus/subway pass good for 10 rides per person. to get around. I reccommend the the double decker on/off bus tour to see the whole city (three routes available. ) The neighborhood has quick markets, bistro's, cafe's, etc. to stock the fridge or go out away from the denser areas.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Hello I wanted to thankyou for a very pleasant renting experience which made our stay in Barcelona much more fulfilling. Waking up and going to bed with such a spectacular view on the terrace was so great. The Gracia neighbourhood was fun to explore and very convenient to get to the rest of Barcelona. You live in such a beautiful city. Thankyou again for being so responsive and reassuring to our emails. If we return we would look forward to renting from you again.

  We stayed at the Gaudi-1 penthouse in the Gracia neighborhood. We were a party of four, including two children ages 8 and 5. The kids enjoyed the vast terrace while my wife and I could not take out eyes off the beautiful view. On practical matters, Lina and her associates were very helpful and professional. We got replies to our emails in a timely manner, we also got good advice from them in choosing an apartment. The apartment was clean and well-kept. We were greeted by the friendly Saul and shown around. The neighborhood is quiet but has all the amenities available within a few minutes of walking including several supermarkets, bakeries and good restaurants. The walk to Joanic, nearest metro, is a bit of a trek but definitely not a deal breaker. All in all I would recommend the particular apartment we stayed in and the services of Apartment in Barcelona in general.

  Terrasse der Gaudi Penthouse 1 mit wunderbarem Ausblick, gut ausgestattete Kueche, Lage in einem Stadtteil ohne ständige Angst vor Diebstahl auf der Strasse, großer Markt mit mindestens so gutem Angebot , wie der Boqueria Markt. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!
