Recently remodeled in authentic Caribbean style, the villa features open air architecture, luxurious interiors, beamed ceilings, and tile and mahogany floors throughout. A poolside guest house, entertainment bahio, and large BBQ complete this tropical landscape and offer families and friends the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tropical backdrop. Transportation from the house to all restaurants, the hotel, marina, beach, shops and the historic Altos de Chavon ensures convenient and scenic travel.
Breakfast and lunch are prepared daily. Dinner is available with advance notice. (Guests supply food). Laundry and all housekeeping duties are offered daily by the reliable and friendly maid/cook and gardener/butler; both speak English and Spanish. The separate staff service quarters provide privacy for all guests.
The main house features a large great room, formal dining area, and large presentation/guest kitchen. Tropical louvered windows and doors fully open to reveal an attached bahio living area with full jacuzzi, mini guest bar, private pool and entertainment bahio. The entertainment bahio located at the end pool area features a large sitting area, full bar area, dining area and plenty of room for entertainment; and don't forget to BBQ at the large attached cooking area. The dining area can accommodate 14 inside and 15-20 under the poolside bahio.
The five bedroom villa features a Master bedroom with King bed, private bath, and louvered doors that open onto a private verandah overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. Bedroom two has two full-size beds with a private bath, while Bedroom three has three twin beds with a private bath. An additional guest powder room is conveniently located in the main living area.
A separate guesthouse is located poolside with two additional bedrooms that overlook the pool and golf course. One bedroom has a king bed, private bath and custom-made outside coral shower. The other poolside bedroom has two full beds, and a private bath with another personalized, outdoor, coral shower.

Our family has enjoyed traveling to Casa de Campo for nearly two decades.
When the children were young, it was the perfect place for us to relax and for the children to play. Now, our home-away-from home allows us to re-connect with friends and family, while escaping from our high-stress jobs in healthcare, education, and marketing.
The staff are like part of our family, having worked for us for many years.
They are very honest, helpful, and friendly.

Cajuiles 56 is a fantastic home. The staff was very good, great cooks, and helpful in every way. The location is very convenient to the Hotel and all activities. Great space for an extended family or large gathering due to the large pool area and extended yard. All the comforts of home and such a relaxing vacation!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Stayed with my wife and three kids during April vacation. The villa was very nice and the location was awesome. I played all the golf courses there, including the private La Romana Club and still marvel at how nice the conditions were. I was shocked at how few people go to the resort in April. Restaurants were open but we were always alone. Altos da Chavon was great, the marina was hopping as a sailing race was going on all week and the food was good. If you are vacationing with a family I would highly recommend this villa. I would have given 5 stars but the kitchen, televisions, stereo system, air-conditioner remotes could all use a little modernization.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.
