The quaint charm of a 1950's Arizona ranch house, yet completely updated and newly remodeled with modern appliances. Unique southwestern decor. Very neat and clean and well-kept. The Casa Soleada, the sunny house, has an open yard with lots of sunshine, yet is surrounded by property full of lush, mature desert vegetation. It takes 50-75 yrs for a saguaro cactus to grow an arm. There are a dozen saguaro with many arms, making them well-over 100 yrs old! And there are several younger ones on the property as well.
Located on the exclusive Northeast side of Tucson near the foot of Mt. Lemmon. Easy access to the main surface roads of Tucson via E Tanque Verde Rd. Easy access to Mt. Lemmon via Catalina Hwy, which is a 2-lane road also called 'Sky Island Scenic Biway'. (The Santa Catalina Mountains are one of southern Arizona's 'sky islands'). The 30-mile route to Mt. Lemmon's summit, Summerhaven, begins at the T-intersection of E Tanque Verde Rd & E Catalina Hwy and winds its way up to the top of the mountain.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Damage Deposit is $1,000. It is fully refundable within 7 days of your check-out date. There are no applicable taxes. (Pet Deposit: $500 per pet; also fully refundable within 7 days of check-out).
PAYMENTS: 50% due when your reservation is made. 50% balance due 30 days prior to your check-in date. We accept credit cards through HomeAway Payments (the 'Book It' button). HomeAway Payments offers the options of cancellation protection, rental guarantee and damage protection. We also accept U.S. checks via regular mail (note: our bank cannot accept/guarantee international checks) and bank account transfers or credit card pmts via PayPal.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 100% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival. If cancellation is less than 30 days before arrival, we retain the rent portion and refund the damage deposit and cleaning fees. We open up the dates on the VRBO calendar immediately and, if we are able to secure another reservation, any rent we collect in lieu of yours is also refunded. (You may obtain cancellation protection via HomeAway Payments. And some credit cards offer it). After check-in, early departures do not qualify for any refund except damage deposit accordingly.

'The Casa Soleada' means The Sunny House (In Spanish 'casa' means house & 'soleada' means sunny)
Saguaro cactus in the backyard and gorgeous mountain views. There are a dozen large, mature saguaro, (with many arms), on the property. And several younger ones. It takes 50-75 yrs before a saguaro grows an arm. So most of these are well over 100 yrs old!
