KALAMA MALL, across street from Kalama Park, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, rentals, restrooms, gas station next door GROCERIES-Foodland, next to Kalama Mall-open 24 hrs SOUTH 1-5 blocks, beaches, shops, bars, restaurants, health food store, gas station UNIT LOCATION - is in back building (B) top floor(4th) corner unit next to stairwell, 35 steps to elevator, all concrete bldg-very quiet-no road noise, great full-time neighbors-only a few vac rentals in B UNIT IN GENERAL - all tiled, split ac system(each bdrm liv/kit area has own ac unit w remote), all lighting on dimmers (great mood enhancer), nice cross breezes, wireless internet in all rooms, cable UNIT BDRMS - 2 master suites with private baths-front master can be king or twins, tub with shower, tv, ac unit w remote, ceiling light/fan w remote back master is queen with jetted spa tub w shower, no tv (our room), no ceiling fan - ac unit has fan option as well as cooling. Couch(not hide -a-bed) & blow-up bed for extra sleeping. KITCHEN - full equipped, stainless appliances, granite island, 2 swivel bar stools, table/4 bar stools (move wherever you want), food and beach gear storage LIVING - Comfortable couch (not hide a bed) and chair, blow-up bed available if needed for extra guest, massage chair, smart TV, DVD, fully equipped desk, printer, stereo w remote and auxiliary plug, ac unit, games, cards, binoculars LANAI - the patio has 2 swivel bar stools and places for dishes/drinks. Both ocean/mt views are amazing-lots of time is spent here watching whales, winter sunsets, birds, etc.

The location here at Pacific Shores in the south end of Kihei is ideal. Walk to all beach activities and a wide variety of dinning and retail/grocery shopping options. Across the street is Charley Young/Kamaole I Beach. It's a short walk to Kalama Beach Park with kids playground, skateboard park, rollerblade arena, tennis/basketball/volleyball courts, ball fields, and surfboard/paddle board/kayak rentals and lessons.

About the owner: We moved to Maui in Oct. of 2003 from the Seattle area after our 3 sons were out on their own. I was a recently retired airline employee and my wife continued her career as a professional horseback riding instructor/trainer. At that time only one son was married and there were no grandchildren. Fast forward to now and we have grandchildren and extended family we desire to see more. We are now renting our home when we are away. This helps with our travels and gives you the chance to enjoy our 'home' while you are away from yours.
Why the Owner Chose Pacific Shores: Over the years we had vacationed on all the Hawaiian Islands. We kept coming back to Maui and have stayed in various areas - Kaanapali, Kula, North Kihei, and here in South Kihei. We first rented at Pacific Shores and then bought our condo in April 2004. Location, location, location - best beaches, closest amenities, great neighbors. Truly Pacific Shores 'no ka oi' - is the best!
