This is a great place. Cosy, quiet, practical and a few minutes driving from Winterpark ski village. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, so we prepared our own meals every day, with food sourced from the Fraser Safeway. Except for yummy chocolate ice cream, which was left in the freezer for us. It started snowing again during this mid April weekend, so the birds flocked on the feeders hanging outside the dining room. Nice company. The heated boot room dried our winter gear overnight. We also loved the outside hot tub and used it every evening. Just make sure that you remember the code to get into the outside key box, and the doors don't close behind you in auto-lock without key or phone in hand. Happened to us first time we hopped into hot tub. I had to go out on the freezing street half naked wrapped in towels, to explain to friendly neighbor walking her dog, so she found Judy's number on internet and came back with key code to save us. Our most memorable Friday 13 experience ever. Thanks Judy!

We wanted to do something with our two 7 year old grandsons during their spring break. The house was great! They enjoyed sledding in the field across the street and watching the trains go by. The Hot Tub was a nice touch after a very wet day tubing in Fraser. Judy has the home well stocked and she helped make our stay enjoyable. There are plenty of games and books to keep you occupied.

Our family group of 6 adults and 3 kids under six enjoyed the comfort of this open 3 BR, 2 bath home w/fireplace. The kitchen was better equipped than any we've rented --- even stocked with some commonly used staples! We were in need of nothing and produced fantastic meals. Documentary books, games and literature supplement whatever you bring. The convenient ski bus shuttle was a short walk down the hill, and 8 minute ride to Winter Park base, also town destinations. There's a lower deck hot tub for those so inclined.

This house quickly became a home for our family. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed cooking big meals in the evenings with the fully stocked kitchen and playing board games which were also provided. We are hoping to make this a family tradition!

The house was wonderful! So beautiful and the scenery was gorgeous! We had 6 people in our party and our little 3lb dog. The house fit us all perfectly! The kitchen was very accommodating for cooking large meals and even had what we needed to whip up a birthday cake! The hot tub was such a nice added bonus. We enjoyed our week at the Ski Inn and we can't wait to come back!!!!

Judy & Jenni are wonderful to rent from. We went up for a family vacation between Christmas and New Years 2011. There wasn't as much snow as we expected, so we spent quite a bit of time in the house -- with 6 adults and 2 kids, we had plenty of space and were able to have a wonderful time together. The kitchen also worked great for us to have our annual family 'cooking competition' -- a wonderful experience all around. Steps to the mountain and minutes from both Winter Park and Fraser, the location couldn't be better. Highly recommended!
Owner response:Thanks so much Jason and family. We love to provide a home away from home for families just like you all! And guess what- I also love to cook in my kitchen in WP -much more than I do at home. Turn on the stereo or watch the latest Glee DVD and cook away to my hearts content. I bake bread up there often - make sure you look at the U tube - "4 year old makes bread". Fun and delicious. - Please come back anytime. Take care, Judy and Jenni

I went to WP in Dec 2011 with my family (2 kids) and friends. The house was so like a home for all of us. It's full of its own character. The wood, handcrafted furniture and everything makes it special. It's kids friendly with lots of toys , books and games. The only thing I would mention is that stair doesn't have child safety gates, I know that I'm asking too much.. Description and photos are accurate, but they cannot deliver unique vibe of the house. It's much better, believe me! It's just a short walk to WP lifts, we never had to drive, except for grocery shopping.. The house was clean and well-maintained. Owner is always willing to help, and one misunderstanding about lower level was solved in just one phone call. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a quite relaxing family vacation. It's probably not the best place for active night life and parties.. It wasn't the best snow at the time except the last night before we had to leave. Could you believe that owner offered us a free night in order to give us a chance to hit a fresh snow? That was the case!!! Thanks so much for the vacation, we will be back :)

I went up with my family for a Thanksgiving getaway and had an amazing time at the Ski Inn. The house completely felt like home and was a great place for all of us to sit around and hang out each night. With it being so close to Winter Park Village, we enjoyed being so close to skiing and snowshoeing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook and was open enough that even while cooking you were still involved with everyone in the main area of the house. We would go back to the Ski Inn in an instant as it is a great place for a Winter Park getaway!

I have stayed in this home for over 18+ years and it is my most favorite. When you drive up to the Ski Inn it gives you a since of coming home. It is very accommodating and comfortable. It gives you all your home amenities. My grand kids loved it! It is close enough to the Winter Park Resort to walk. It's no far from town. The views off the decks are beautiful!. Relaxing in the hot tub and looking out onto the mountains, you've never seen a more beautiful view. I can not say enough about the Ski Inn, the 18+ years I have been staying there should tell the story. We have enjoyed some awesome times and have awesome memories. If you are looking for a place that resembles home, stay at the Ski Inn House. You will not be disappointed.

A great time was had by all. Great location with lots to do over the Labor Day weekend. The house was lacking in nothing. We enjoyed grilling out and relaxing in front of the fire place. We all enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. We will definitely be back for the ski season.

This was my second stay at Winter Park for skiing. My first stay was at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge and I have to say Ski Inn was a much more pleasant experience. We had six people in our group and no one had even the slightest negative comment about this place! It is close to the slopes so you could walk a few blocks or catch the bus as we did. We never waited more than 5-8 minutes on the bus. We loved that the kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, glasses, etc. We had a couple home cooked meals and sat by the fireplace. Also, the hot tub is a major plus after a hard day on the slopes! Definitely recommend the Ski Inn to any travelers heading to Winter Park, Colorado!

We used Labor Day weekend for a family getaway to Winter Park. Ski Inn was perfect! There were 6 adults and 2 small children - we had plenty of beds and room. Loved the kitchen/dining area with the 'eat up bar'. The hot tub was a great addition! The house was very clean, well supplied, and in great shape! The management company was very helpful in answering questions prior to our trip. We brought our bikes and enjoyed the paved trail to the town of Winter Park & to the Ski Village. The paved trail is about 2 blocks from Ski Inn. We would definately consider Ski Inn for another weekend & would recommend it to anyone!! Thank you!!

We are from the Denver area and were looking for a weekend away. We had a great time and this house was perfect for our group. There were 6 of us including the dog. It was great to be able to bring him along. There was enough space for a few more of us and the location is perfect. Walked to the ski area base and took short drives into the town. We would stay again if we were heading to that area.

Judy - Your house was everything we could have asked for! The views from the back deck were breathtaking, and the location was ideal for exploring the Winter Park/Frasier area. There were 9 of us, and the layout and size of the home were perfect. The kids enjoyed the nearby alpine slide in the Winter Park Resort, and the hot tub was a welcome addition. My family has stayed in many homes from VRBO, and this was the most well-stocked one we have been in. You truly thought of everything, and it really felt like our home away from home. Thanks, Judy, for loaning us your home and for your generous hospitality!!

We stayed here the week between Christmas and New Years 08. We had a large party of 14, the house was probably a little too small for our large gang but we had a great time anyway. Perfect location, hot tub enjoyed by all. We really appreciated being able to bring along the 4 legged family members! Thanks Judy for lots of family fun we'll stay again if we have a smaller group.

As owners of the SkiInn for over 15 years, we have received so many wonderful comments and recommendations from our past guests in the guest book we keep in our home. We have only just re-activated this on-line guest book, and will be adding some of the comments from our books. In the meantime, rest assured that our focus is providing our guests with wonderful vacations in our lovely mountain home!

We have stayed here at least 3-4 times with our family and friends and loved every minute. If Judy is still the owner THANK YOU THANK YOU. You were very kind when my husband became very ill a few years back and had to be air lifted to lower altitude during the "100 year blizzrd" and let us stay an additonal night free. We hope to be back with our grand kids in tow very soon.

Thank you for sharing your home - the games, jacuzzi, fire place, and especially washer and dryer. All the things that make it most like a home and very inviting. The view of the mountains and softly drizzling snow made it most peaceful. It was a good time to meet many new friends in the warmth and coziness of your home. The accessibility to the slope for skiing made it even more convenient.

My boys and I had never skied before but my sisters talked me into coming to join their families in one of the best vacations that my boys and I had ever had. We leave here as closer family. The kids say on a scale of 1 to 10, this place is an 11! Thank you, Judy, for sharing your wonderful home with our families. We could not have had it any better.
