The apartment is located in a beautifully renovated old building with wood floors and stucca ceilings and is tastefully equipped. It has 3 rooms with each 2 beds, whereby the beds can be used in the living room as sofas. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and dining table. The toilets are located 2 meters from the apartment doors. The large and modern bathroom is located a flight of stairs down in the cellar. All rooms are to be used alone. The garden door is located right next to the apartment. Also included: bedsheets, towels, textiles, television, internet connection, outlet adapter, breakfast on request. The apartment is an ideal accommodation for families, pairs traveling together or small groups. It is near the center and still very quietly located. In the beautiful garden children can play and the adult guests can relax. You can also eat outside.

My family of six really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to public transportation, restaurants, and a grocery store. Having the restroom in the hallway outside our apartment was ok since we had the entire floor to ourselves. Parking was a bit tricky on the street, but we did find something a block away. My kids absolutely loved the toys available in the bunk bed room. The owner Rahel was so pleasant and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? We just got back from our stay in Basel and this flat was lovely...it is in a nice neighbourhood, close to downtown...the apartment was quiet but it does have squeaky floors, so trying to be quiet and not wake up our 15 year old son was hard, but this was not a big issue...they have the flush and sink in the hallway, which at first we were not keen on but it ended up not being a big deal at all...the shower is in the kitchen part of the flat, which was also no big deal...they have all the items you need to make your meals and there is a grocery store just down the street with reasonable prices....there is a nice balconie, which we had breakfast every day overlooking their garden...very nice...we would recommend this flat to anyone who is looking to save money because eating out in Switzerland is very expensive and it also included the train and bus pass for downtown Basel. The owners are very friendly and met all our needs. The apartment is very clean and well maintained.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Wer nicht die perfekte, sterile Atmosphäre eines Hotelzimmers sucht, findet in diesem gastfreundlichen Haus eine charmante Alternative. Das alte Stadthaus ist liebevoll restauriert und stilvoll erhalten. Ein sehr sauberes, perfekt arrangiertes Ambiente hat unseren Aufenthalt ausgesprochen angenehm gestalltet. Das im Keller liegende Badezimmer ist geräumig, warm und praktisch. Das Wohnquartier ist sehr ruhig, trotz der guten Verbindung zur Innenstadt. Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder aufsuchen bzw. uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
