Rockledge on Mouse Island offers a private island home experience within walking distance of the amenites of Tenants Harbor village. Drive right to your door across the private causeway and enjoy a variety of shore fronts including a great gravel beach area, perfect for launching kayaks. The expansive lawn provides good space for yard games or picnics.
The views from this property range from the open Atlantic ocean to the boating activity in Tenants Harbor and the surrounding islands from Clark Island to Southern Island Lightstation.
A half mile walk or bike ride takes you into the village of Tenants Harbor where you'll find the Tenants Harbor General Store, The School House Bakery, Farmer's Restaurant, The East Wind Inn, The Cod End, The Jackson Memorial Libaray, Granite Gardens Nursery and Cafe, True Hall Real Estate, the post office and public boat landing.
The house is completely furnished with cleaning service and linen changes available upon request. There are three second floor bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two twins. All with new linens and quilt bedding. Each floor has a full bath with tub/shower combination and plenty of towels.
Waterview dining can be enjoyed from the dining room, eat in kitchen or on the sunporch. Or, you can pack up a picnic and head for the deck, porch or picnic tables on the back lawn. A Smoke Joe charcoal grill is available for outdoor barbacues.
The kitchen is fully equipped with caphalon cookware, plenty of glass ware and plastic ware for outside dining. There is a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, lobster pot and crackers.
There is a CD player, VCR, cable TV, high speed wireless internet access and a paperback library.
Available three seasons with customized stays during spring, fall and winter.
