The house is only one block from the famous Indigenous Artisan's Market, featuring every craft made in San Miguel and the surrounding towns. Also one block is El Nigromante, the major indoor market,with its produce, flowers and food stalls. Others may claim it, but we really are easy walking and a short distance to churches, sites, restaurants, galleries, and shops, and four blocks to the Jardin (main plaza). Very lively, friendly, and local neighborhood. No hills.
The master bedroom, with queen-size mattress, overlooks the interior courtyard with full length French doors. The two other bedrooms face the street: One with a double bed and the other with two twin beds.
There are two bathrooms,one downstairs with a full bathtub and one upstairs with a big, custom shower.
The sunny kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, Kitchenaid mixer, blender, and good supply of pots, pans, utensils, and local pottery. An interior courtyard is just off the kitchen. On the roof is a covered terrace, a great place to read, dine, enjoy the plants and sunsets.
Rental includes our housekeeper, Monday through Friday for two hours. If you need more personal attention, we can arrange to bill you for additional hours. Absolutely no pets and no smoking. Owner will send renters a "how-to" sheet with best arrival information and suggestions to start your stay.
We love the true simplicity and direct style of our Mexican house and all our renters tell us they do, too!

Our party of 3 stayed in this lovely Mexican house the first week of October. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return and stay here again. The house is spacious and we loved the roof top terrace. The kitchen was also spacious and came equipped with everything you'd need. The location could not be better. It's a block away from a wonderful artisans market that stretches for 3 or 4 blocks. The farmers market, open every day, was also a block away. It's about 5 blocks to the local Starbucks, and maybe 5 blocks in the other direction to the Aurora Fabrica. The Jardin is maybe 6 blocks. There was always something to do within walking distance. Stay here. You'll love it!
