Haus am Strand***Beachfront Guesthouse.... is a lovely beach-house right on the ocean. Magnificent subtropical garden, stretching onto the white sandy beach, ideal for sun tanning, grilling or just relaxing and enjoying this spectacular view. Our different apartments have their own entrance, french doors open onto the garden and sea. From your comfortable Queen-bed you can watch the dolphins. The holiday rooms have an open plan kitchen and are tastefully furnished, each with its own flair. Furniture, pictures, colors and textiles are all in harmony, even the crockery. Soft lighting, warm blankets and cushions, Flokati rugs, candles, heaters and heating blankets in winter, are all there to make you feel happy and comfortable in thisholiday apartment at the beach house, just like at home.
guestbook: This is heaven on earth, we come again, Here you are close to paradise, magnificent view, we watched dolphins and even saw 2 whales., We are here for the 6. time, Very friendly atmosphere, beautiful decorated,
helpful hosts, very friendly, long beautiful beachwalks, happy place, like a dollhouse, we were very happy here and wil come again, we were never closer to the water! At high sea you think the sea comes into your bedroom, amazing feeling.

we booked into this lovely guest house for 3 nights and stayed for 7, we didn't want to leave. The best location, right on the beach with lovely garden. Rita our host was a joy. She made us feel welcome and gave us loads of information about where to go etc.. There are lots of restaurants and a mini-market a few minutes walk away with a larger shopping mall about 15 minutes drive away. This is the perfect location to use as a base with a wide variety of places to visit. You must get a canoe out and visit the waterfall in the Wilderness National Park, great fun. We had some lovely meals out, Rita recommended the restaurants, and we could find fault with none of them. We had a wonderful time here, relaxed on the beach and in the garden and sat on our balcony with a glass of wine and watched the waves-- heaven. The rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Would we go back, a definite yes. Would we recommend this guest house another definite yes.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Wir hatten das große Glück auf das wunderschöne HAUS AM STRAND zu kommen!! Direkt am Strand steht das Haus in auffalend schönen Farben (Sonnengelb mit rotem Dach und weißen Fenstern) mit großem Garten in dem die Palmen und AloeVeren stehen, unter blauem Himmel....es gibt nichts Schöneres für uns. Wir waren in der Ocean-Suite von der wir einen grandiosen Überblick hatten: täglich sahen wir die Delfine!! Die Suite ist wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet in hellen Farben und hatten sogar eine "Privat-Terrasse". Selbst Nachts ging ich auf den Balkon, blickte auf den "schummrig" beleuchteten Garten und hörte dem rauschen des Wassers zu! Rita, unsere Gastgeberin, und Mike haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und gaben uns viele gute Tips wo wir "lekker" essen und einkaufen können, oder welche tollen Ausflüge wir unbedingt machen müssen. Ich könnte hier ewig bleiben...., ganz sicher werden wir wieder kommen. Es ist unser Urlaubsziel Nummer Eins geworden!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Das Quartier Haus am Strand/Beach Bungalow hatten wir bereits von Deutschland aus für fast 3 Wochen im Januar und Februar vor gebucht .....und wir fanden, wie erhofft, ein kleines Paradies. Das gilt sowohl für die liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer, den traumhaften Ausblick, das freundliche Personal und unsere Gastgeber Rita und Mike, die alles taten, damit wir uns wohl fühlten. Der Aufenthalt in Wilderness war als Höhepunkt unserer 6 wöchigen Reise gedacht, und obwohl auch unsere vier anderen Quartiere sehr schön waren, es war wirklich DER HÖHEPUNKT !Recommended for: Age 55+.
