“FLEX SCHEDULING” is offered on all four of our Big Bass Lake properties. This means that you can rent for a week or more starting ANY DAY of the week, for a weekend arriving FRIDAY or SATURDAY, or for a MIDWEEK RENTAL of two, three, four or five nights, or ANY COMBINATION of the above. In other words, YOUR SCHEDULE, not our convenience, dictates when you arrive and depart.
“PACK LIGHT VACATIONS” means that all you need to bring is your clothing, personal items, and something to eat. WE PROVIDE bed linens (beds made up), towels, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, paper towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper napkins, bath soap, soft-soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, scouring pads, laundry detergent, fabric softener, trash bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, salt, pepper, sugar, firewood, kindling, matches, flashlights, extra light bulbs, fans, two propane tanks for the grill, and – if needed – portacribs and high chairs.
Why can we do this? BECAUSE WE LIVE HERE AND MANAGE OUR OWN PROPERTIES. We are not bound by the schedule of a rental agent or by the limitations faced by an absentee owner. And because we do not have to pay 25% to 31% to a rental agent, we can give you extra value.

This raised ranch is within walking distance of the Clubhouse and outdoor pool (summers only), less than a mile from the Big Bass Lake beach and marina, and about two miles from the Recreation Center, indoor pool and ski area. It is ideal for one-and-two-family vacations, small reunions, retreats, or business/vacation getaways. Here, your worries will vanish and your dreams will soar!
Big Bass Lake is a secure, upscale, private community in quaint, historic Gouldsboro, built around three pristine lakes popular for swimming, fishing, and boating (no gas motors). It features two beaches, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, courts for tennis, basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and bocce, a recreation center with activities for all ages, a slope for beginning skiing and snow tubing, and much more...all on site.
Deer, wild turkey, birds, and waterfowl abound. And, within a 30-minute drive you will find the prime attractions of the scenic Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania's vacation paradise.

SUMMER is delightful: warm days for water sports and other outdoor activities, cool nights for refreshing sleep. OWNERS HAVE TWO ROWBOATS AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS (April 15- Oct.15).
In the FALL, visitors enjoy spectacular foliage (usually best Sept. 20-Oct. 20), hiking and biking, fishing, hunting, and excursions to local attractions. This is probably the best season to enjoy tens of thousands of acres of state parks and gamelands accessible within 10 miles of Big Bass Lake.
WINTER enthusiasts find this a prime area for skiing, snow-boarding, tubing, cross country skiing, ice-fishing, and hunting; there's usually lots of snow. Spring is for those who like surprises, as it can seem like winter one day, sunny and warm the next
PLEASE NOTE: We allow pets only with approval in advance, and WE DO NOT PERMIT SMOKING INSIDE our properties. Also note that 12 persons overnight is the limit for this property. Rentors must be at least 21 years old.

30% premium for New Year's only: Dec.31-Jan. 2, 2011.
15% premium for these holiday periods (based on WEEKEND rates): Presidents’ Day (Feb. 12-14), Memorial Day (May 28-31), Labor Day (Sept. 3-6), Thanksgiving (Nov. 24-28), Christmas (Dec. 24-26)
Multi-Week Rentals (discount off weekly rate): 2 weeks -5%, 3-weeks – 10%, 4 weeks – 13%, 5 weeks – 16%, 6+ weeks – 20%
Amenities Badges (per person age six and above): $8/day or $40/week - required by Big Bass Lake Community Association if you will be using community facilities: lakes, pools, beaches, courts, clubhouse, ski slope, etc.

About 7 of my friends and I rented this great place last summer. Had a wonderful time in a really nice area. Close to lake. The woman who owns the place is the greatest. Nicest lady ever. Tons of beds, very clean, pool table! We had a great time. Definitely recommend.

We were a two family renters. We had teens and young children on our vacation. We only had a very short vacation and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. We all enjoyed the community pool, the teens enjoyed the tennis court while the little ones enjoyed the playground. Our husbands used the row boat and enjoyed the fishing. The children where excited when they saw big wild turkeys around the area and also when the deers pay us a visit in the early mornings. This place is great for everyone of all ages. The only disappointment was that the tv did not have enough channels to view. The kids wanted to watch their music video and their reality shows. Otherwise everything was great, the house was fully supplied and we did not have to bring anything except our toothbrush, toothpaste and beach towel. Thank you very much for your rental.

We all really enjoyed our stay at this Big Bass Lake location. It was spacious, clean, and was in a convenient location and all for a very reasonable price. We didn't need to bring much, as almost everything was supplied to us! The owners were EXTREMELY easy to get in contact with and had no problem answering our questions. I've never dealt with more patient, understanding and overall helpful owners. I HIGHLY recommend renting from them if you wish to have a stress-free and pleasant renting experience. Will definitely rent from again! Thank you!
