Holidays are a pleasure at this spacious townhome. Just a few steps to the beautiful powder-soft sand of South Padre Island Beach. This immaculate and inviting townhouse is just across the street from the sand - and you save plenty! You get the privacy of a spacious townhouse for the price of a smaller condominium!

The two large decks have full, unobstructed gulf views, as shown in the photo - so why pay more? Relax and enjoy the view of the beach. Lots of advertisements say they are "close to the beach", but do they have this view? The beach is literally just steps away. You are right there!
And you will not be cramped in a condominium. You will have a full 1850 square foot house to enjoy. And one that is only 6 years old, and seems even newer because there is all brand new furniture. This is the place you want if you have a family (or two) on vacation!
The dual master suites can comfortably accommodate 6 adults. Each of the two very spacious bedroom suites has a queen-size bed and the one also has a day-bed, and both have their own full bath. With the fold-out queen-size sofa-sleeper and the additional day-bed in the living room for the kids, a total of 10 sleep comfortably.
The two balconies, each with a view of the gulf, provide a nice reading area in the morning sun or a great place to eat dinner (and the kids will love the picnic bench) There are also two additional balconies in the front of the house.
This "home away from home" comes with all imaginable amenities. Three large TVs, cable, DVD, VCR, stereo, and CD keep you well entertained while not at the beach. There are many upgrades, including tiled kitchen and living room, and white Berber carpeting in the bedrooms. Each bathroom has a pretty Talavera sink.
A full kitchen, with dishwasher and all dishware, cookware and utensils, is included for your convenience. There is a separate dining area. Bed linens and other necessities are provided for your care-free holiday. A washer and dryer make packing easy! Phone with free local calls included.
The far end of the island is a state park, where you can be completely alone on the beach - to meditate, relax or watch the dolphins playing! The island also has horse back riding, a water park, a sea-turtle shelter/museum, boat tours (for great fishing and for dolphin-viewing tours), fantastic restaurants and nightclubs.
South Padre Island island is the perfect get-away destination to relax. The sugar-white, powder-soft beaches are a sight to behold, as is the tranquil, clear turquoise water. The Gulf water averages 78 degrees year-round. Dolphins can often be seen playing. Activities include hiking, biking, fishing, deep sea fishing, sail boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and wind surfing. There is a championship golf course ten minutes away. There is even free bus service to get around the island. Or visit Mexico for a shopping experience - it is only 25 miles away.
There are fantastic restaurants - Seafood, Barbecue, and Mexican -or get some just - caught jumbo shrimp from the fisherman and grill it yourself.

The house was perfect. We had a small problem with blankets/sheets when we arrived and Ira had it fixed within minutes! The beach was just steps away just as described. I would definitely recommend this property to others! Thank you very much!!

We stayed in this townhome June 25-July 2 and it is exactly as described! It is very spacious and beautiful! About a minute and a half walk to the beach. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking and the views from the back balconies were fantastic. Ira was very thoughtful and good to work with. We would definitely recommend the home for a large family. There were only five of us but there is room to sleep ten comfortably. We can't wait to go back next year!

We had a pleasant time. Not exactly what we had hoped. We like a more open concept. Would be nice to have a TV in kitchen./dining area as we cooked most our meals in. Beautiful view from back to the gulf. Plan on returning to SPI next winter but will stay 2 months.

What a perfect place to enjoy Thanksgiving! The home was well kept and well maintained. Our kids loved the place, the weather was great and the beach which was just a short walk from the doorstep was fantastic. This home worked out in all aspects with its views, proximity and the location. The south padre island free shuttle service (The Wave) stops right outside the home (about 50 feet away) in the Gulf blvd. Also what we learnt is that there are no set-in-stone stops only as you can wave the shuttle to stop from where-ever you are on Gulf Blvd (no kidding).So that's a fun fact to know as the kids enjoyed the trip on the trolley to the lighthouse in Port Isabel. We even came back in the trolley. Sometimes you just want to chill and not have to drive. And when you feel those times, the trolley is right outside the doorstep and the ocean is right outside your doorstep as well. What else can one ask for! Here is the schedule of the "The Wave" for interested visitors who dont have a car or have a car but just want to chill without driving. Another useful nugget is that right behind Ira's home is the Inverness Condos on the Gulf Blvd (you can see this from the balcony). Just take the short walk to there and wave the shuttle! http://www.spireviews.com/wave-schedule.html To make a long story short, we have vacationed in many places and stayed in many different homes but we would still rank this place as being right up there for comfort, convenience and an amazingly good time. We will definitely be back!

Feb. 27 to March 13, 2010 This townhome was perfect for us. We like to rollerblade the length of Gulf Blvd. and walk on the beach.....both of which were steps away. The upper deck off the back of the home is superb for sunning and relaxing. This area is very quiet.

The house was very roomy and comfortable. Just a short walk to the beach! We also really enjoyed a "sandcastle lesson" from "Sandy Feet" right by the house - look her up too if going to Padre. It was a lot of unexpected fun!!
