Including grocery stores, Devoto (full service hypermarket), produce, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacies, hair & beauty salons, banks, ATMs, gas stations, & including a full service hospital some 300mtrs (~300 yards) away (and with the entire area being wooded, it is far enough away, NOT to hear any sirens, or commotion).

The Security: ALL entrances are protected with metal gated entries, including the front door, the patio entrance, the kitchen & service entrances, or by solid slatted steel & wooden entries.
ALL living, dining, patio, breakfast nook (in the kitchen), & bedrooms are screened with special protective polarizing film to keep the glare & direct heat of the sun out, & to preserve your privacy, as people on the outside cannot see you, inside your home, & yet you can see out, withOUT any hindrance. People on the outside cannot tell that you have the protective film installed on the inside.
The Services: The alarm system operates independent of the telephone system. It provides detection against intrusion, & fire, & provides panic call capability direct to the security services company. It is independent from the phone system, & goes straight “over the air”, to the alarm company, & as a direct result canNOT be cut.

Having been raised by an architect mother, turned General Contractor, I have built and owned various real properties for the last 50+ years, in a number of countries. Vacation rentals and longer term rentals from Canada, to Florida, and all the way to Eastern Europe. I have wanted a home in Punta del Este for some 40+ years. So in 2012, I came to 'Punta' with a 'mission' to buy the ABSOLUTELY best property I could find. I spent July, August, and September of 2012 in 'Punta', looking at OVER 200+ properties, until choosing THIS ONE property - Chalet Seagull. It is absolutely the 'best of breed'. The location is FANTASTIQUE, close to everything, without the noise and pollution. The home is well built, and the layout simply GREAT. You WILL fall in love with it; it really is that GOOD.
