Property Managers: Villas Virgin Gorda (Howard and Irma Levenson, Spanishtown, Virgin Gorda)
Why Virgin Gorda: Welcome to our home in paradise. We fell in love with these islands and their people over fifteen years ago. When we decided to build a house on Virgin Gorda, we picked this site because of the landscape and the views to the southwest as well as to the northwest. When we designed Boulder Crest Villa we wanted it to fit naturally into the existing landscape so as to become a part of the island, not to change it. Our contractor was not happy about building around the trees and boulders, but when he was finished he understood. We hope you do also.
In deciding to share our home with others, we realized that, since we could not be here as often as we would like (we both have jobs), Boulder Crest Villa would be much better off occupied and enjoyed rather than sitting empty and alone. So again, welcome.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa: We hope your stay is enjoyable and relaxing so to that end we highly recommend that you complete your days activities 30 minutes before sundown, fix yourself a drink and sit out on one of the terraces to watch the light show of some of the most beautiful sunsets we have every experienced – they’re different every night. If you are at the Villa during the part of the summer season when the sun sets over water instead of the islands, watch carefully just as the sun disappears below the water. There is a very brief but brilliant green flash at the junction of the water and the disappearing sun. We’ve only caught it once but it’s worth trying (the “green flash” is often spoken about as if it were a myth, but we both saw it last year at the same time so no myth).
