Charming, one room guest house on private ten acre farm. Quiet, rural setting off Coastal Route 1. Good location to explore the Coast of Maine, up or down. About 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, one hour to Bangor, two hours to Campobello Island (Canada).

Sorrento is a quiet community with a beautiful harbor looking across Frenchman Bay to Cadillac Mountain, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

The cabin has a queen bed, seating area, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, electric baseboard heat, and sundeck. All linens and dishes are provided. Pets require pre-approval by owner. No Smoking.

The owners raise gourmet lettuces and vegetables for sale to the summer community; guests may pick from the gardens. The owners also tend a few lobster traps in summer and guests may sometimes go along. Sorrento has a 9-hole golf course with spectacular bay and island views, and a unique salt-water pool by the shore, with sandy beach and bottom, as well as tennis courts and a beautiful harbor. Tennis and swimming are within easy walking distance (1-2 minutes).

ATTENTION GARDEN LOVERS: You may earn rent credits in return for helping in the vegetable gardens. Includes weeding, harvesting, planting seedlings, etc. Very flexible to fit your vacation needs.
