We are located 3 blocks from the south shores of Big Bear Lake, and a 4 min drive to the Village and within walking distance of town, shops, and restaurants. Come and enjoy the season at Big Bear Lake, California with all Big Bear has to offer! Our cabin has been newly rebuilt recently and is fully furnished, sleeps 5, with living room with sofa bed and woodburning rock fireplace, dining nook, full kitchen, one separate bedroom w/ queen size bed, full bathroom, fully enclosed private big yard and pet friendly, 2 car or boat parking,
amenities, 2 cable tvs,wireless internet, DVD,garden swing, picnic table, BBQ, smoker, and basketball ct. Everything you need is there. All you bring is your food or enjoy one of the many fine restaurants in Big Bear. "Lucky Angel" cabin is located in a quiet woodsy area in Big Bear, California. It is very warm and cozy and clean with all wood construction, inside and out. Has one bedroom, one full bathroom, living room, and fully equipped kitchen.
The bedroom has queen-size bed, wall heater, cable TV, antique desk, and closet. Living room has a rock woodburning fireplace, wall heater that keeps cabin warm and cozy, color cable TV and DVD with videos and games, and a queen size sleeper sofa and chair. It sleeps up to 5 people, including linens, pillows, blankets and quilts.
It is very nice for a couple or a small family. Kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, refrigerator, BBQ/smoker, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans. Also has a dining nook with bar-type table with four chairs.
Outside has porch with picnic table and benches, BBQ/smoker, two persons swing, and basketball court. The driveway is paved and accommodates two cars or boats parking. Also has a fully enclosed front and back fenced yard for pets and kids.
This is a great cozy cabin nestled in a woodsy area with ancient trees and within minutes of ski resorts, water sports marinas, and natural forests!

This cabin was obviously recently refurbished and well-maintained. Everything was neat and clean. The knotty pine floor, walls and ceiling encapsulate you with a woodsy atmosphere which enhances the Big Bear experience. We didn't use the sofa-bed, but did notice the bedding for it was clearly labed in the closet and appeared to be of a sufficient amount. We didn't use the BBQ or smoker so we can't comment on those. But, the yard was fully-fenced as stated, which made traveling with pets so much easier. The fact that the cabin backs up to an empty wooded lot increases your feeling of privacy. Overall, a good experience which I could recommend to a couple or small family.

We rented this cabin for a three night weekend for our anniversary. We had rented a cabin from a rental agency in Big Bear before and found this cabin to be a much better deal so we went with it. It was such a deal and well worth the price! The cabin was really clean when we arrived and a great space for us, our two dogs (a lab and a golden retriever) and our 3-month old baby. The bathroom was so clean and neat, very well maintained and updated! The kitchen was fairly well equipped, I would recommend you bring your own paper towels and plastic wrap and such, but that's pretty typical with any rental. It would be a tight fit for more than one couple, so unless you're really close, I would recommend this just for families. The yard was a great size for our dogs to run around, and the location was fantastic. Very close to the lake, the village shops, and all the stores. I did vacuum and sweep and dust before we left, and of course picked up the yard after my dogs. Within one day, I was emailed that my deposit would be returned. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to rent again when we get a chance!

Overall a very good experience, with one word of advice. Take time stamped photos of the cabin thoroughly when you first occupy it. We were charged for a pre-existing stain in the area rug and additional cleaning even though my wife spent three hours cleaning the cabin before we left and left it in better condition than when we first moved in
Owner response:I personally inspected the Cabin before Wayne, his wife, and 2 dogs moved in and it was spotless! The carpet was shampooed one day before them occupying the Cabin and there were no stains present! After 7 days of them being there, the rug and the couch were found to be heavily soiled and he was charged a minimal fee for the extra cleaning .I am sure that their 3 hour cleaning did not include cleaning the carpet or the couch. Renters are adviced of our cleaning policy in their contract; which states to leave the Cabin in the same orderly and clean condition as found or they will be charged for the work done.
