    The owners were accommodating and very pleasant. The condo is beautiful. The view is beautiful. The attention to detail in the information package was wonderfully thorough. I can't imagine what could have made the visit any better. I highly recommend renting this home.

    My family just loved this condo and was beyond our expectations. It has a great location. It sits on top of a ridge with nice view that overlooks the resort and the valley below. It is located less than 5 min from the main lodge in a very nice area of Wintergreen resort which made it very convenient when we wanted to take breaks from skiing. The condo complex was clean and well maintained. It was nice to have an elevator even though we didn't use it. The inside of the condo didn't disappoint either. It comfortably accommodated 3 adults and 3 children. It was clean and well furnished. Although we did a good job of packing, it was nice to find the condo had everything we needed. We really liked the electric grill, fresh supply of firewood, entertainment setup (internet, video games etc.), well stocked kitchen (equipment, and accessories) and the K-Cups (sorry, we couldn't resist using some of these). The owner, Lee, is also very organized, and very good at communicating. The instructions he provided were very detailed and gave us a good idea of what to expect. It was nice of him to give us a call the night we checked in. Anyway, I have stayed in Wintergreen previously and this is by far the best place for the money. It is definitely at the top of our list and it will be very hard to beat the next time we visit. Thanks again Lee and looking forward to coming to your place again!

    I have been staying at Wintergreen for over 20 years, and this is by far the most beautiful condo I have ever rented. The views were fabulous; there were two flat-screen TVs; the kitchen and bath were updated; all details were beautifully thought out. There were so many little touches, like actual little soap bars (rather than the ubiquitous liquid soap), and really thick towels that you never see outside of five-star hotels. Lee called me the evening I arrived to see if everything was to my satisfaction: in all my years of renting, I have never had a host do that! I can't recommend Lee or this condo enough, and I look forward to returning many times in the future.

    This condo is wonderful. It has an outstanding view of the mountains, is very well maintained, stocked with anything you may need, and the owner goes out of his way to be sure your stay is great. We rented with short notice and Lee responded to our email within an hour, followed up, and had everything ready to go very quickly. Would recommend for families, singles, couples, really anyone. The shuttle bus runs very frequently over to the slopes and the stop is right in front of the condo building. Would highly recommend and we plan to stay again.

    The property was very clean and they had everything that you could possibly need away from home. The views are amazing and the master bedroom and bathroom are perfect. The owner even took time friday afternoon the day we arrived to call and make sure everything was ok which was very cool. We will definately be returning in the near future.

    Visited this view-inspiring condo for a birthday gift and had a great time. The view was the key element to our choice and believe me, you will not be disappointed. You get a true panaromic view: mountains close, in the distance and a perfect peek inbetween of the town below. Excellent communication with owner and condo in great condition--everything you need for your stay!

    We enjoyed 3 days at Wintergreen in this lovely condo, clean, comfortable, well furnished with many amenities, excellent views of the mountains from the deck,LR,DR. We hiked some of the trails, had 2 delicious dinners, one at Devils Backbone Brewing Co, one at the Copper Mine, and visited some local wineries. Wintergreen is located in a beautiful area of Virginia, would recommend this property, as the owner is extremely gracious. Hope we have the opportunity to return there.

    We spent a wonderful weekend at Wintergreen for a family wedding. The condo was in the perfect location, was fully equipped with anything/everything one could want. It was beautiful and clean. The views are spectacular. We just wished we. Our have stayed longer and been able to,do some more hiking. Next time :-).

    This condo has it all - a gorgeous view, lots of amenities, and an owner who personally contacts you to make sure everything is satisfactory. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had every piece of equipment you would ever want, including a supply of condiments and spices. Being able to go for a three-day stay without taking my whole kitchen cupboard was a real convenience. My family enjoyed the movies, books, games, and magazines. Everything was just right and more! All in all, a wonderful experience.

    My husband and I have stayed many times at Wintergreen, but I must say we enjoyed Lee's condo more than any other rental we have had. I didn't want to come home! The deck has incredible views of the sunrise over the mountains. We saw lots of wildlife and birds also. Our intent was to play golf at Devils Knob (awesome course), but we also loved the hikes and incredible weather we had there. This condo is so well equipped that we felt right at home. Thanks for the great experience. I hope to come again real soon!

    My husband and I stayed a weekend in mid-July. We can't say enough about the heavenly view, cooler summer mountain temperatures, accomodations that were roomy, well-maintained and stocked, hiking trails, pools, and the owners' thoughtfulness. A real find!

    We stayed in this property over Memorial Day weekend. We could not have had a great experience throughout. The owner was very responsive via email and made it very easy to reserve the place. He also called during our stay to make sure all was well...a very nice touch. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable for the whole family. It was very accessible to all the Wintergreen facilities: the pools, spa, Discovery Center and Nature Center. We'll be back for sure!

    My wife, two boys (age 17 &13 ) and I stayed here 1 Feb - 3 Feb. We rented the place based on other reviews and the pictures displayed in the ad. The pictures you see in this ad don't do it justice. The view is breath taking and the condo is very nice. They have everything one would need during your stay. The condo is family orientated from toys and games for little ones to video games and board games for the older ones and families. The owner goes out of his way to answer all your questions and even called the night we checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. It's a home away from home. We were on the slopes all day which is less than a five minute drive. We didn't utilize the shuttle because it only runs on weekends. There is a full kitchen but after skiing all day we were to tired to cook so we ate at a couple of the restaurants based on the owners reviews. They were spot on. The owner even followed up the evening we checked out to make sure everything went ok and asked if we had suggestions to make future guests stays more enjoyable. We are hoping to make this a yearly trip and plan on booking the same condo if available.

    Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. This is our second time staying in this Condo and it keeps getting better. The views are amazing both day and night of the ski trails and the mountains. Lee is so helpfull with anything you need, very accommodating and want to make sure your stay is perfect. We skied everyday the shuttle bus pickes you up right out in front of the condo. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook. The movie and music selection is great. We will be back. Thanks, Lee.

    Just got back from a quick trip to Wintergreen with my family. Lee was very thorough from the moment we booked to after we departed. He even called the condo to make sure everything was OK. One day after we returned he had already processed our deposit reimbursement. The condo had everything you could have wanted and more. It was very easy to find, very clean, nice amenities and a fabulous view of the slopes. The wintergreen shuttle picks up right in front of the condo so you don't have to deal with the parking. I will most definitely stay here again next time we're in Wintergreen.

    Great choice. This is truly a home. Everything is comfortable, well-maintained and of good quality. Loads of thoughtful touches; baskets of upscale toiletries, good books, lovely bedding and towels, everything in the kitchen you need to cook with, [and not just utensils, but the seasonings, oils, etc. that are such a nuisance to bring] and a very pleasant call from the homeowner to see if we needed anything. The view is amazing. Sunrises, star-filled evening skies; we were constantly drawn to the deck or the windows. Can't go wrong with this place.

    A real gem perched on the backbone of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, this condo faces due east for the best possible vistas of the Rockfish Valley and sunrise; a good western view of the Shenandoah Valley and sunset; a deck above the tree-line for cloud and bird watching or sipping local wine. A clean, well maintained and equipped condo, there’s something for everyone here: very good beds, comfortable furnishing and lots of room. Add to that, hiking trails and a nature center, golf, tennis, swimming, a spa and restaurants within walking distance. The resort offers sports activities year round and lots of cultural events (on site or nearby). No need to get back in your car until you head home. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is an excellent place to relax and recharge!

    My 4 year old son wanted to go skiing (peer pressure starts early!), and so we booked a last-minute trip to Wintergreen, and started a search for a place to stay. Thankfully, Lee was willing to work with us on an extremely short notice, and provided a beautiful 2 bedroom condo with a sunrise view that left us all awestruck. The place was clean, well-decorated, and obviously well cared for. The kitchen had every utensil and dish (including toddler friendly ones!) and condiment you could want. The 2-person jacuzzi tub looked inviting, but the kids wouldn't give us the time to try it out. There was a wide selection of books, games, and DVDs (again, including some for the little ones) - enough to keep us busy for several days. Only one problem: you have to wake up early to catch the sunrise. Otherwise, you're stuck with only a green valley and the slopes of Wintergreen resort!

    We spent a wonderful week in Wintergreen and loved this condo. It was perfect and had everything we needed to make us feel home away from home. It was nice to return after a day on the slopes to the cozy fireplace, and our son loved the Christmas tree that the owners had put up. The view from the condo is beautiful, and we enjoyed the fantastic sunrises. We took advantage of the indoor pool and the spa that are close by, went sledding right accross the street and skied every day. The lift lines got a bit crowded just before Christmas, but other than that Wintergreen seems to be very well organized. We can highly recommend this condo; the owners were very attentive and helpful, and we would love to return.

    My husband and I rented this condo to celebrate his 50th birthday. Our friends joined us so it was just 2 couples and the place was the perfect size. Very comfy, welcoming, clean, and well-appointed. The owners take special interest in seeing that guest's needs are met - soap, shampoo, coffee, spices. We loved the fireplace, the comfortable, upscaled bedding, well-stocked kitchen, and AMAZING VIEWS! This condo was perfect for 2 couples. I searched many 2 bdrms condos on VRBO to find one that didn't have bunks or twins in the 2nd bdrm. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back and will choose this condo again!

    What a marvelous condominium! The view was breathtaking--so much so that my mother has already developed and framed several pictures she took from the wrap-around balcony. Staying in this condominium, high in the mountains brought much needed peace and tranquility for my mother and me. Yet, the ski pavilion was just about 5 minutes away. My children went skiing every morning, came back "home" for a quick lunch, and hit the slopes again. Thank you for the use of the walkie-talkies; they really came in handy. I used them to communicate with my children when they were away from the condo skiing, tubing, or whatever. The accommodations were 1st class, yet the rates were more than reasonable—especially for a school teacher on a modest budget. Flat screen televisions, cozy and comfortable bedding, the jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and the well-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. This condo is a gem and God-willing, we are planning to visit yearly.

    This was our most enjoyable stay at Wintergreen. The condo is fantastic! We loved the décor. We loved the view. We loved the proximity to the slopes. Our trip was a last-minute impulse and your posting seemed too good to be true. Previous rental experiences have taught us to keep our expectations low. However, we were delightfully surprised when we arrived. It felt like home. All of the details you've provided didn't go unnoticed. I cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner and didn't have to "make do" one time. You've equipped the kitchen with every gadget I could think of, and then some! I don't ski, but the rest of the family does. I was able to read, cook, and enjoy the view while my family played in the snow. Being able to meet them for a mid-day 'picnic' was so much fun. After skiing all day the kids were exhausted, but somehow managed to squeeze in some time playing the Nintendo 64. I had the best night's sleep in ages. The mattress in the master bedroom was wonderful. (I'm hoping to replace mine with one just like it!) The down blankets were a very nice touch, too. Everything was perfect. Don't change a thing! Thank you for accommodating our schedule and allowing us to stay a couple of extra hours, too. It made the trip much more relaxing. We hope to visit again soon.

    A quick note to say how much we enjoyed your condo. Beautifully decorated and with all the comforts of home! We've been to Wintergreen many times, but finding a place to stay was always a problem because the condos rented by the resort are so variable. We're glad we tried something different! The cool mountaintop was a welcome relief from the sultry weather here in Charleston, and the golf at Devils Knob challenging--those greens are murder! We'll be BAAAAACK (if we may!)

    Bill and I absolutely loved the time we spent in your condo. What a beautiful place! You did everything right: Egyptian cotton sheets on the bed, thick towels in the bathroom, every (new) gadget and appliance one could want. You spared no expense and made everything feel luxurious--exactly how you want to feel on vacation. When we arrived late on Sunday night, there were no parking spaces left (we improvised just fine); by Tuesday morning, ours was the only car in the lot! We enjoyed the crowds on the 4th, and the solitude afterward. Thank you for letting us stay a bit later; it gave us almost another full day away. And thank you for your hospitality--you were kind to call on Monday morning. We would love to return.

    We had a very delightful stay in your condominium. You have done a great job on it as it has that "brand new" feel. We were very comfortable and relaxed the whole weekend. And the view is just amazing. A panorama of what must be 50 miles to the east and the slopes directly below. Beautiful. We were concerned about the logistics of getting to the slopes but the shuttle picked us up right out front of your condo and we were at the slopes in 5 minutes. It couldn't have been easier. We shall return!

    Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. This place is classy, spotless, and modern with all the bells and whistles of home surrounded by the amenities of a first rate resort. The view is out of this world and the interior is very chic- don't expect the tired "lodge-look" of other rental properties. After the close-by winter activites, we loved sitting by the fireplace and watching movies on the big TV with theater sound- WOW. We also loved the Devil's Knob restaurant just a short walk away! If you're looking for comfort and style, this is the place.
