Why the Owner Chose Blue Ridge
After standing on a concrete foundation of a spec cabin, we were approached by Mountain Blessings original owner/builder as he drove by towing his belongings from his "moving day."
He invited us to visit the cabin above where we immediately were stricken with this "picture card" view that could not compare with any other cabin we had visited. We put our trust in God if it was His Will to allow this dream cabin to come into reality. We pray that everyone who is our guests will be drawn closer to Him and have peace that passes all understanding.

God has allowed my husband and I to be stewards of this awesome mountaintop cabin, which has very exclusive views of the Cohuttas National Forest and mountain ranges into Tennessee. Thank you for sharing this beautiful "home away from home" with us! The cabin is absolutely wonderful and the views are breathtaking. We ate breakfast every single morning on the deck, then sat there and talked, watched deer, rabbits, etc. It was great! We had so much fun this week, mostly relaxing, reading, playing pool, putting puzzles together, playing games and a little sightseeing. We truly enjoyed it, and your cabin is now our new "favorite." Thank you a million times over! In Christ's Love,

My idea of a perfect place to get married was in the mountains with all the color of the fall season. We hunted & searched the internet high and law until we found "Mountain Blessings." The pictures of the view were just as I had envisioned. However, you never know what to expect. When we arrived, I was overjoyed to find the description didn't do it justice! What a truly beautiful place to get married & a peaceful honeymoon. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.

Thank ya'll so much for the opportunity to stay here. You did not overexaggerate the view at all! We had no idea it was going to be such a wide expanse of mountains. I kept taking pictures because it seems everytime you look up, they look different. The cabin is so nice & very clean. I sure hope we have a chance to get back up here again very soon. We reallly enjoyed our stay.

As our week at Mountain Blessings ends, we are rested, renewed & refreshed. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and we chose Mountain Blessings because we didn't want a week of sightseeing "have-to's" . We wanted a week of quiet & peace to draw near to Jesus & to each other. Our expectations have been exceeded. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We have read God's Word & have seen His handiwork in His beautiful creation. Blessings to you!

Thank you again for letting us use your cabin. The changing colors of the leaves were beautiful. Both this year & last year we came here as a refuge & that's exactly what it was for us. The beauty of these mountains & the peace and quiet & the sunsets leave us in awe of God's creation. This was a wonderful 5 days & we hate to leave & return to the hustle & bustle of the city. God bless you & your family.

As we sit in this beautiful cabin on our last night, we feel so at peace. The surroundings are like home, but with the added bonus of panoramic mountain views. When we arrived, we spent the rest of the day taking in the beauty of the cabin. After sunset, we ventured into Blue Ridge. We ate lunch and bought apples & apple butter at Mercier's Orchard. We ate trout at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant. The food was delicious! We played a round of golf at Whitepath Golf course. If you love golf but don't like to feel rushed, go after 12:30 p.m. The course is narrow & beautiful and the cost was $28/person with a cart. We will leave in the morning feeling absolutely blessed to have stayed here. Thank you.

Such a beautiful place to spend our golden wedding anniversary and reflect on five decades of God's blessings. So good to look back on each decade and see in retrospect God at work in our lives. Thanks for sharing one more blessing.
