My husband and I wanted a short get away...the cabin was everything and more...the view is just as you see on the pictures here. Cabin was extra clean..the roads were alittle rough but worth every bump. I could have sit in that swing all day. The owners were extra sweet ..we didn't know if we would get to go due to the hurricaine but they were very understanding. We enjoyed going to Cornerstone Baptist Church. It is truly a Blessing to stay there and such a look of God's creation. The last night we were there I had read some had seen God's fireworks while there..I told my husband that would be nice...watch what you ask for within 30 minutes we had a tremendous storm but oh so beautiful...Thank you for the experience ...would recommend to anyone!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We spent 2 weeks here. The cabin was clean and well-maintained with the lovely view as advertised. Bring your binoculars - you can see all the way to Tennessee! The master bedroom was cozy with a very comfortable mattress and soft sheets. We would have enjoyed a larger selection of TV channels - we couldn't find our favorite shows. Since our car was not a 4-wheel drive we found the gravel road up to the cabin quite bumpy and sometimes almost hazardous. Try Sisters' Restaurant in Blue Ridge by Wendy's for home cooking and reasonable prices and Sue's Best Burgers in Town.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: There were heavy downpours of rain in a short amount of time that caused the road damage prior to our guests arrival which created gullies and bumps in some parts of the road. This county-maintained roadhas since been repaired. There is Dish Family TV with additional local Atlanta stations for your viewing.

As we sit enjoying the peace and quiet of Mountain Blessings, we are mindful that south of here, many in Atlanta are dealing with the aftermath of what will go down in history as the Flood of 2009. As we drove up from Florida earlier this week, on Monday, the 21st, we were unaware that, within hours after we passed through, Interstate 575 would be closed due to flooding. We are grateful for our time at the cabin and in Blue Ridge. Beautiful and a real treat!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a perfect retreat after " hustle and bustle" of a wedding. We will always remember your cabin as the place where we shared our first moments as husband and wife. We both enjoyed the peace and serenity as well as the adventures offered throughout the surrounding area. We think you really do have the best spot on this mountain. It really has been a blessing! Thanks so much and God bless!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Thank you for the use of your beautiful mountaintop cabin. It was perfect for our marriage and spiritual retreat. In fact, after being married for almost 18 years, this is our first honeymoon. We loved the snow and ice. The trees looked like glass. We realize the winter wonderland was a blessing from God! I loved taking things easy and not having to clean house and take care of five children. Your cabin is very clean and beautifully decorated. I finally feel like I have been able to "be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10....my favorite Bible text. May God bless you because of your "Mountain Blessings" you provide for others.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

What a great cabin! So clean, comfortable, and well-maintained! You could sense the spirit of God in this place & that is an extension of your personal ministry and love for the Lord. Couch Bill McCartney, founder of Promise Keepers, once said that you could tell the character of the man by the countenance of his wife. I also think that you can tell the character and spiritual lives from a family's home! And this place shouts out your passion for extending God's kingdom and being instruments of His grace.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Thank you so much for the use of your cabin, "Mountain Blessings." The cabin is beautiful and the sites of the mountains are awesome. It is amazing to see the beauty that God created. It is better than any artist could ever paint. We enjoyed our time here. Once again thanks so much for our trip to the mountains where we enjoyed a private family Thanksgiving together. It was wonderful.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
