  My husband and I were fortunate enough to book this great condo for two weeks. It is very tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved the fact that it had all the amenities of home - the linens are top quality and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the large lanai each morning. It was great to see the closet stalked with beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler bag, snorkelling equipment and beach bags - all of which we used every day of our stay. We did not have to use the air conditioning very much, as we were able to get a great cross-breeze going through the condo each day. I love the grounds of Kamaole Sands Resort as well - they take pride in keeping things meticulous, and the barbecue areas are very clean. We enjoyed having the pool and hot tub area just outside our building as well as we were down there each day. It is a short walk to Moose McGillicuddy's/Fred's Mexican Restaurant, and just a walk across the road to Kamaole III Beach. Wanda was very quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had. - We will definitely not hesistate to book this condo again when we return to Maui in the near future. Mahalo Wanda!

  We just arrived home after another two week stay in this wonderful feel-at-home condo. This was a second stay having spent 10 days two years previous. I couldn't imagine staying in another unit. The upgrades are amazing and the cleanliness so welcomed. The beach chairs and boogie boards were used every day and Mai Tai Wednesdays at the pool were an added bonus. We walked and swam lengths every morning before breakfast picking up a coffee as we went. Being at the beach every morning and snorkling, viewing the schools of fish and turtles amused us for hours. Taco Tuesday at Fred's (just minutes away) was fun. We even went on a dinner cruise this time which was extremely enjoyable. We love the sunsets and all the shopping a shopaholic could want. All the dishes, serving and otherwise are all you could ever need. The grounds are so well kept, the pools and hot tubs above standard and the barbecue pits served ourselves and family members well.   My husband and I stayed at this condo for 8 nights in May. The condo was exactly as advertised and very comfortable and clean. The large lanai and beach toys were great bonuses. The grounds at the Kamaole Sands were impeccable. Would definitely consider this unit again if we are lucky enough to visit again. Favorite place to snorkel was "the dumps" by Makena.   It was our first trip to Hawaii and we loved it. Your condo was perfect! It was clean, neat and had a great location. It is also nice to use chairs, snorkel equipment etc! Beach is just a short walk and so are some eating places. We will definetly rent again!! Thank you!

  We have recently returned to Australia after a vacation in Hawaii, with some of this spent in this wonderful Condo at the Kamaole Sands. Anyone contemplating staying in this condo could not find another one so clean , comfortable, and with such gorgeous furnishings . There are so many thoughtful details, and so many useful things in the kitchen , and to take to the beach .This condo reflects care and thoughtfulness, and pride , and offers everything for a comfortable ,and enjoyable stay. I can not recommend this highly enough to anyone wanting , a beautiful place to stay , close to the beach, pool ,and barbecue area. It is in a wonderful garden setting , and is close to the town of Kihei which has some nice restaurants, and shopping areas. Wailea, is only a ten minute drive away, where there are many shops, and great restaurants as well. We only had a 5 night stay , but wish it had been much longer.   This was my first time renting a vacation rental so I was a bit nervous at first but everything turned out wonderfully! I bought the VRBO insurance just in case but I wouldn't bother the next time I rent this unit. The complex is one of the best in the area - great pool, awesome barbecue grills, literally across the street from the beach (we went every morning). Renting this unit made our vacation. Eating out in Kihei is expensive and the food is mediocre. We cooked in all the time in the beautiful kitchen and ate our meals on the large lanai (bigger than some nearby units). The unit is clean and bright and has all of the beach equipment you could want (snorkel gear, boogie boards, noodles, beach chairs, beach bags..) I definitely recommend this unit to everyone. Other traveller's tips: - Car rental is a must. We kept our windows rolled down with doors unlocked all the time. - We didn't think the Highway to Hana was as beautiful as everyone says, but it might be because we're used to seeing a lot of mountains and trees back home .The drive is so curvy that you feel like you're in a video game (it's kind of fun). - The drive to Lahaina is actually more scenic than the Hana Highway in our opinion, but Lahaina itself isn't great (except the Banyan Tree). - Haleakala is a must! We were too lazy to get up for the sunrise (leave at 3 am) but even just the sunset is incredible. By the time you reach 3/4 of the way up the mountain, you're above the clouds which is just incredible. Dress warm. It's cold 10,000 ft in the air. - There's an Expedia vacation office at the pool in this complex. We booked our snorkeling trip through them. Figured it would be a bit pricier than outside but liked the convenience - we ended up on this great trip that's run by an ocean conservation not-for-profit organization which is an awesome bonus!
