Come spend a relaxing week on Goose Bay at the southern tip of the North Carolina Outer Banks. From the ample screened-in porch or from your king-sized bed you can observe a variety of waterfowl as they claim the bounty from these tidal waters.

On Harkers Island, less than five miles away, you can find traditional coastal fare, boat and kayak rentals, and ferries to outlying barrier islands. The most beautiful of these islands are those which comprise the Cape Lookout National Seashore. It is accessible by a ten-minute ferry ride to the lighthouse on one of the ten most pristine beaches in the US.

The historic town of Beaufort, founded in 1709, is just 15 minutes away. Ocracoke Island is three hours away by car and ferry. Sport fishing, diving, and surfing are available in Morehead City, 15 miles away.
