My group was 17 people, and the home was great their was lots of room for my family to spread out and reset during our vacation. The people were very nice and help full. Their was lots of space for family to spread out and rest. I would recommend this home for a nice group get away. even though my group was very big we were welcomed to rent the home for the weekend. This is a wonderful place to stay. Margaret and Jack made us feel so welcome in their home. The house provided us with everything we needed. All we had to do was bring the food. It was perfect for my large family.
Owner response:Thank you Estela. We are glad you all had a good time. We had to close for 9 months so I could take care of my Mother but we are open for guests again.

We came with 11-- parents, children and grandchildren and we were all made to feel very welcome. So great to have room to spread out in and sleep in and play in. A walk to the river for the kids, a soak in the hottub and yet we got to Sea World in 30 minutes. The hospitality and infromation they had on the area made our stay even more enjoyable. Hard to believe you were near the city in this quiet and lovely home.

The pictures on the computer do not justice to this marvelous home! We were just in San Antonio for a very large convention and stayed in this house. It was only a 15 minute drive from the house to downtown where the Alamo and the Riverwalk are. It is close to many stores and grocery stores. We were 6 adults and we had plenty of room. It was wonderful after being among the hustle and bustle of the convention to return to the house and deflate. I loved to sit out on one of the patios and read, talk, or to just be. Margaret and Jack are AWESOME! They provided coffee supplies for us, which was an important amenity for our group! Their dogs, Blue and Mosquito are great too - very gentle and loving. If you are going to San Antonio, this definitely is the place to stay! We'd go back in a heartbeat!

We have stayed in this home twice and both times were incredible. The home had plenty of room for all of us..11 of us. It was roomy, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Margaret went out of her way to make sure our stay was awesome. When she found out our flight was late she went to the store to make sure we had breakfast as we would not get a chance before we arrived. Jack provided my son and husband with fishing equipment and they even caught a catfish during our stay. The home is clean and well stocked with everything a family could want. I highly recommend this home and I will stay again for sure if in the area.

We've stayed at many vrbo houses, but none surpass our experience here. The house is spacious, well-appointed, with just about any amenity you'd want: hot tub, fire circle, gourmet kitchen, giant TVs, games, loads of DVDs, et al. Even more special is the grounds though: beautiful woods leading down to the San Antonio river, ready for swimming (with the owners' two friendly dogs), or fishing, or just watching beautiful sunsets. One can find fossils or arrowheads on the property, not to mention wildlife. The owner trapped a raccoon during our stay, and we also saw a family of feral pigs pass by. Our stay was early spring, and the wild flowers were stunning. The location is also excellent: under half an hour by major roads to downtown. And the hosts are really lovely people.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Margaret and Jack made us feel so welcome in their home. The house provided us with everything we needed. All we had to do was bring the food. It was perfect for my large family. The children enjoyed playing outside, searching for lizards, fishing, swimming and walking. Blue was always there with the kids watching over them. I would reccommend this home to anyone.

We had the most wonderful family vacation ever here. We had 6 adults, 8 teens/children and twin babies and had more than enough room. Our daughter's family from San Antonio spent time out here also. If you love the country !!!!! Day trips to Sea World and the River Walk were easily accessed. Highly recommended for relaxation and family togetherness.

My family came to visit us in San Antonio and stayed here. The people were very nice and the owner even let my father borrow his GPS to get my brother back and forth to the airport. It was a very nice pleasant place, and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Mrs. Margaret and Mr. Jack We can't express our thanks to you for all ya'll have done to make our Spring Break so wonderful. After seeing the river and woods it was very hard to tear ourselves away from your beautiful home and land. We so appreciate all of your help with our festivities, ya'll were great. We wish we could stay longer. We are hopeing to come back this summer. You are very blessed to have such a beautiful home and gracious enough to share with others. We can't thank you enough for letting us stay at your home. It was very comfortable for our large family. P.S. Blue and Mosquito have made a lasting impression on our children. They so enjoyed them.

Jack & Margaret Thank you so much for opening your home to us. You have a beautiful place & made us feel at home. We had a great time here and the kids loved it. We took the kids to Sea World, Schlitterbahm, the RiverWalk, the Spanish Market, the Alamo & the Buckhorn Saloon. We all had a wonderful time. You also have the BEST dogs ever! They were both very friendly and wonderful with the kids. Blue never let the kids out of his site especially when we went swimming in the river. After a long day of touring it was great to relax in the hot tub. Thanks again!
